From the article: Hahahah, fantastic! The cake is not a lie!

*anxiously awaits the day when a "leaked" PDF copy of the ruleset hits the intarwebs*

EDIT: Of course I do not condone copyright violation, but since I already have the entire ruleset preordered from Amazon I wouldn't mind a sneak peek at the PDFs I'll get when I get my books :)

I am the same way. I have bought Races and Classes/Worlds and Monsters - I want a pdf of Worlds and Monsters for reference/collective purposes even though I have the physical book.

I do not think legally it is copyright violation if you own an orginal and do not share it.

I am of two minds, I really want it now, I am buying it anyway and my players want to play 4e.

But I think I would rather wait then see it floating around on the interwebz...

Yay, seems we won't have to fear a release delay. Too bad they couldn't work as hard at getting the GSL ready...

Which, of course, is SSSSOOOOOO much more important than..I dunno..getting the main books ready. (Sarcasm, in case you couldn't tell....)

What? No comments about how anime a +6 vorpal knife is? Anyone? Anyone? :D

Since the rational for cutting back on Dragon and Dungeon Magazine was so that people could focus on finishing the core books, does this mean that these will get back on schedule now? :)

The GSL got TPK'ed by a group of Hasbro Suits and their Lawyer Minions. It was a horrible battle. The problem is, the GSL was only heroic level, BUT it still had a destiny to complete so they are waiting on the ruling of the DM to see if they can resurrect it for it's second battle.

Lawyers are deity level. Go ahead and ask them, they'll tell you. ;)

Well obviously since they mentioned Portal, this is THE Portal cake, and it takes a Epic-level knife to cut it.

I don't know. I think it's the epitome of exception-based design. The cake is a lie. EXCEPTION: this cake is not a lie.
