D&D 5E 5e EPIC MONSTER UPDATES

I have added the Gibbering Orb to the Aberrations section.

Nice. Question: Ray number 4. The way it is worded, PCs can actually save against the ongoing damage before they suffer it. Isn't that a complete break from standard, where creatures suffering ongoing damage always receive at the start of their turn, and then they get the chance to save at the end of the turn?

I have added the Daemon Sultan, Azathoth to the Aberrations section.

I tried something different with Azathoth. I remember reading my old Call-of-Cthulhu bestiary and in it Azathoth continuously grew after it was summoned. i don't know if that this is supported in the literature or just a creation of Chaosium, but I liked it and thought I would try to incorporate it into my 5e version. Let me know what you think.
I think it's fricking awesome!! Question though - how does it defend against flying opponents?

Yes, the save is always at the end of the turn, but the damage at the beginning. I need to correct that - thank you for catching it!

It has no particular defense against a flyby attack, but its "Warp Reality" trait protects it from most ranged attacks.

At some point I would like to go into more detail about Azathoth, and give more info/options for it, but in general I wanted it to be fairly simple: it arrives, grows, and destroys. It can't move or do much of anything. The big complication being its growth mechanic. I'm still trying to decided if it should have plane shift/ gate / teleport ability or just allow it to be summoned and banished. There is room to grow in the 2nd draft.

I have added the Cat Lord to the Fey section. I have been fascinated by this Fey Lord since I get the 1e MM2 many, many moons ago! This one is a bit on the complex side.

I have added the first of the "Great Dragons," aka Great Wyrms and Wyrms, to the dragons section. I have uploaded all of the Chromatic Wyrms. Thank you Blacklight85 for all of your help!

Awesome! That is what I have been looking for! Thank you and thank you Blacklight85 !

Your welcome! FYI, if you are familiar with the DM's Guild there are few dragon based products on there. IMO, most are rather stale (similar to the MM), but few offer some interesting options. I think @Jimbro might have made some catastrophic dragons too.

EDIT: I forgot to mention my Hardcore Monster dragons, you can see them here: Hardcore Dragons

Sorry for being a doofus, but do you have a link to this, I couldn't immediately find it.

Thanks!

Sure, it is in the Dragons section here: Dragons They are listed by CR and it is a CR 23 dragon, between the ancient blue and ancient silver.

ToA Spoiler
[sblock]PS I think this makes a better dragon turtle for ToA then a standard one. Much more likely to control the bay.[/sblock]

I've corrected the Gibbering Orb's eye ray. Thank you for the help.
