The rat darted past Edgar's clumsy attempt to block it closing in on him and biting him painfully. Edgar recovered though and brought the shaft down hard on to the rat splashing blood and gore everywhere. As he chocked the shaft to bring the heavy head to near he slipped on the blood and failed to hit anything else.

Kuhl sees the rat approaching, darting between his legs and attempt to bite him. With a deft swipe he tries to knock it on the head. He follows this up with a quick stomp to its head, or that of its neighbour.

OOC: To hit: [roll0]. If a hit, damage = [roll1]. If the rat is still moving, or if it isn't and there is a second target within reach, he moves and kicks a second rat: [roll2]; if a hit, damage = [roll3].

Chandra's whip barely misses the rat attacking Edgar seconds before Edgar crushes the life out of it with his polearms haft. Serpica's arrow sails past narrowly missing the rats. Kuhl deals a solid blow to the rat near him, and Ara sinks an arrow into its head, killing it.

The remaining rat charges forward at Kuhl but Edgar cuts it in half with a savage blow!

OOC: Hope you don't mind me rolling OA for Edgar, it just speeds things up so much. _: 1D20+5 = [17]+5 = 22 1D10+3 = [9]+3 = 12

"Everyone alright?" asks Kuhl, wiping the end of the staff. He uses it to push open the door, and looks inside, allowing space for Meepo and the torch to illuminate inside.

Examining the rooms you find rat nests, and some shiny objects they've collected.

"Those rats pack a nasty bite." Edgar winces trying to maintain an air of indifference about his wounds but it is clear that he is hurting.

OOC: Leaning my lesson from last time Edgar still has his LoH but I think it would be good to use one of our newly arrived [-]spell slots[/-] allies abilities so that we have two sources of healing in an emergency. If Chandra doesn't offer to heal him he'll use his LoH.

OOC: Where do we want to keep track of party treasure? In some games, we would edit the 1st post to note what the party had collected. BTW, Ara has three 'special arrows' in his quiver.
