As far as the two concerns you specifically mentioned about the review, I did expressly say that non-standard progressions are a personal bugbear of mine - not everyone will feel the same way. As for the AoO thing, four of the five classes have abilities that override the AoO rules: three of them in major ways. To me, that's a pattern that merits comment. Had there been one that overrode the AoO rules, another that overrode some other rule, and so on, I likely wouldn't have picked up on it.
