Abjurant Champion (CM)

Particularly, it shouldn't be a Conjuration spell. Conjuration seems to be creeping more and more into other schools, with the various "It's real energy, so it's Conjuration!" blasting spells, and the odd choice of Mage Armor being a Conjuration.

Mage armor has been conjuration all the way back to 1e.

That doesn't mean it fits the definition of the school though.

Everything is Conjuration. :) (Or everything is transmutation)

Yeah, I've got a real beef with how WotC has been handling Conjuration spells. I mean, if you are using the definition of bringing real energy into existance out of nothing as the basis for conjuration, then most evocation spells should be conjuration. That fireball comes from nowhere. That force ball called magic missle comes out of nowhere. And both of those are real energies, too.

Personally, I think if Mage Armor is conjuration, then it should make a real set of armor. And if its a real set of armor ... then it comes with full spell failure percent and a full ACP, too. In my book, it should be Abjuration all the way.
