Yes it does. First sentence under that description says you get extra movement.

I don't know where you're getting that from. I don't have my PHB handy, but in the Basic Rules, there is only one sentence for Disengage, and it reads as follows:

"If you take the Disengage action, your movement doesn't provoke opportunity attacks for the rest of the turn."

*edit* Also, even if it didn't explicitly say that, (or the example in that paragraph that says movement goes from 30 to 60), how would that action make any sense then? If you can do a normal move of 30 and take another action, why would you dash to move the same 30ft and not be able to take an action?

You're mixing up Dash and Disengage. They are two different actions.

Dash increases your movement for the turn by an amount equal to your speed.
Disengage does not grant any extra movement, but it allows you to avoid provoking opportunity attacks.

So, if you Dash, you can move 60, and you provoke OAs. If you Disengage, you can only move 30, but you don't provoke. If you do neither, you can only move 30, and you provoke OAs, but you get to use your action on something else.
