Adapting the Arcane Trickster for Warlocks

Provided the minimum level of entry stays the same (Warlock 5/Rogue 3), does anyone see any issues with allowing a Warlock to qualify for the spellcasting part of this prestige class and continuing his eldritch blast and invocation advancement?

Special Request: I consider the Warlock to be balanced already and am not interested in "the warlock itself is broken" comments, only "warlock+arcane trickster would be broken because..." comments.

No, I don't really see a problem there, you will still lose out the 2-3 levels of advancing your warlock invocations, which is the balancing factor for the much better class progression you gain.
