The party leaves the jail, and the prisoners in jail, thinking over the information garnered an what use it may be in their tasks at hand. Clearly the threat at the theatre was not guaranteed to be over, but there was one thing left to do before returning to the Dauntonian Fine House of Oration.
So with Grabbag in tow, seeming a bit better than the day before, the party make for the library and the appointed alley nearby. The sun is just beginning to set in the afternoon sky as you start to turn the corner in order to examine the area chosen for the exchange.
On one side of the alley sits a cheese shop, it's roof flat, with a very short wall around the edges. It's only one floor, with about teen feet to the top. The other side contains an old residence, most likely once one large home now seems to have been broken up a bit, though only one entrance is in view. This building has two living floors making its roof about 20 feet up with a peak of about 25 feet. The windows of the cheese shop are made of a treated paper, and those of the home glass. The glass windows on the first floor do not look like they were made to open.
In the shade of the alley a type of ivy has sprung up on some walls and a balcony rests about ten feet up in one corner. Under this balcony rest Alfred. No longer dressed in monk robes he now wears a heavy cloak and leather armor. He fiddles with a knife in one hand and several daggers can be viewed along his belt. He motions you to come toward him.
