Adventure: Delivery of Death (DM: Luinnar, Judge: renau1g)

Murders... strange deaths... disappearances... all these things been happening for three weeks!. At the place of the murders and where people disappeared, they find my red licorice! I cannot explain it, whoever is doing these things must have a bad sense of humor! My licorice does not get up and kidnap and kill people! she says waving her hands about. Maybe your friend has something to do with this? What did he look like? Was he from the village?

You tell the constable about him

I KNEW IT, THEY SHOULD HAVE LET ME EAT HIM

Ingot is completely baffled. "Ah... All right, we will talk to the constable, but I don't know what we can tell him. Or if he will want to listen, everyone seems angry about the broken coffin. Also, what is this 'licorice', I am not familiar with it. Is it some sort of weapon, or a toxin?"

Jax is grinning broadly despite the somber subject of the conversation. But when Louise suggests seeing the constable, he nervously shifts his weight to a different foot. Jax forces himself to look serious and to concentrate. In response to the metal-man's question, Jax barks a short answer: "It's food - like a candy. It tastes foul."

He thinks back to the very short, one-sided fight in the tavern. "Umm... if our employer is the killer, it's best to drop the matter." He nods, apparently having decided something. "Yep! The constable can't help. Best we avoid him. But there was a kidnapping too? Maybe Fiora will pay if we find her daughter..."

"Dunno Jax," Kasha remarks, rolling her eyes. "Don't want to upset the locals any more than we have already." She raises her voice in a monotone bass, puffing out her cheeks and wobbling around in what appears to be an impression of an angry blancmange: "HOW DARE YOU YOU MEDDLING HEATHENS FIRST YOU COME HERE AND SLAY UNDEAD MONSTERS AND NOW YOU GO SAVING OUR CHILDREN YOU ARE TERRIBLE GET OUT."

Giggling, she pops the last of the pastry into her mouth and chews happily away.

Poison! Tastes foul! My licorice will melt in your mouth, it is succulent ambrosia Monsieurs! I stake my life on it! the women says grabbing a jar off the shelf and throwing a couple pieces to everyone to try.

GM: When the party is done here and ready to head either to the crime scene near Fiora's Cottage (which the constable is probably at) or someplace else please let me know.

OOC: I'm good with going to cottage to pester the poor woman for money. The only other destination I can think of is the inn, but it's still daytime.

Kasha bites down on the licorice with a look of deep suspicion, quickly brightening to pleasant surprise. "Not bad," she says with the air of a court judge exercising leniency in sentencing.

OOC: Kasha will happily go along with a kidnapping investigation just as long as it's couched in such a way that is sounds more like Scooby Gang fun and less like 'we should go speak to the constable like responsible adults'. Jax's mention of money can't hurt either.

"Oh, food! Of course!" Ingot shakes its head with a soft rattle. It regards the offered sample with interest, but doesn't eat it.

"I'm confused about what to do next. Jax, I'm happy to follow your lead. Whatever you think will lead to the best adventure!"
