Adventure: Fire and Ice

[sblock=Diamond in the Rough] I'm okay with taking the diamond, but if I remember correctly, didn't the head monk say it was impossible to move the diamond? If I'm wrong, then great, I'll take it, but just keep in mind that Crag can still only take so many hits... our first battle was a GREAT example of that... I was only facing one or two enemies at a time and got my proverbial butt handed to me. Without Mal's aid I would have been toast in a rather short period of time. Of course that could simply have been due to good attack rolls or rolls against my worst defenses, etc. Anyway... ignore my ramblings and continue on! [/sblock]

Brother Hiram suggested he move it to a safe place that you weren't aware of should you fall to the enemies. If you don't want to move it, (and to keep things moving) you can wait in the room with it.
[/sblock]

[sblock=OOC]He trusts us to be in the same room with it now?

I think I'd prefer that. Moving it and placing a decoy would be clever, but I fear it could be too clever. I'd rather just make a stand instead of having to chase down the diamond if we lose it.[/sblock]

[sblock=OOC]
You proved yourself with the last battle, saving the monks lives from the gnoll and his hyena allies, which went wayyyy easier than I expected on paper.
[/sblock]

[SBLOCK=OOC]Skalisss also votes for staying in the room with it, that way we have a defensible position and we don't have to worry about what is happening to the diamond while we are pre-occupied.[/SBLOCK]

[sblock=ooc] Then that would be a majority vote for staying with the diamond. This works ESPECIALLY well if there is only one entrance to the building. Barring the instantaneous (and destructive) creation of new entrances to that room, Skalisss and I could block enemies from coming in, while the rest of you support us with ranged attacks and/or healing as needed. [/sblock]

So the group is shown to the safe room where the diamond's begin kept, Brother Hiram pulls out a key from his robe and opens a lock and you are shown into the room. "Remember, they cannot get the diamond. I will leave with the other monks so that way we don't face Rigas' wrath and he believes we've agreed to his plan." the monk says.

[sblock=OOC]
So any watches while you rest? If so, what order?

There are 2 entrances to the room (east and south walls)

After being led into the room, Crag nods to Ingot and then turns to the others.

"Ingot and I have no need for the rest that you will likely be requiring in the hours ahead. Please sleep while we keep watch so that you can be at least partially refreshed before our coming struggle. Might I suggest that you hide yourselves beneath these pews so that it only seems as if Ingot and I are watching the diamond? We can wake you if something happens."
