Spider moved back through the woods, running the rest of the goblins through with his sword to ensure they were dead, or at least that was his story. He took his trophies, and any valuables.

A search of the goblinoid party reveals nothing of real value. The group was travelling light, apparently set on a hit-and-run raid. The ropes and chains toted by the bugbear betray the party as a slave-hunting group.
Lord Mallaby cautiously moves up the hill to where his cohorts loom over the unconscious hobgoblin.
"What do we do with him?" he asks. "I've never taken a prisoner before."

Eraden looks over the ropes and chains the goblins intended to use on others with disgust. "The vile creatures meant to take slaves." He raises his gaze to the goblin and continues speaking in another dialect. "A fate worse than death for those who bear it, Palladys does not approve."
