Adventure: Get Me to the Church on Time (DM: BenBrown, Judge: Renau1g)

GM: Okay, since you're going the talking route, I'm assuming that Eraden will be rolling Diplomacy. What's everybody else's part in this plan?

OOC: Zardi will stand at the back of the group and look threatening, but not OVERLY threatening. Like, he's being civil, but don't mess with him. That kind of thing.

Eraden walks directly behind the stout dwarf, whos stature does little to conceal him from the women ahead. "Hail!" He yells in an almost inviting tone. "Well met ladies, we are travelers passing through." he says as he looks over his shoulder at the others. "Be wary of goblins ladies, we recently dispatched of a small group down the path." the palladin warns with sincerity.

As he speaks to them he watches carefully for any signs of aggresion.

OOC: Diplomacy = 24
Insight = 16

OOC: Tried sounding non threating at the same time hoping that the mention of our victory over the goblins makes us an unappealing target.

The bridge guards are somewhat surprised when Eraden and Graval step out, but don't show any signs of panic.

"Oh, we know all about the goblins," one of the women says. "They don't come much around here any more."

The other one laughs quietly, but keeps her sword ready.

"So, Mister traveler just passing through," she says, "Why is it that you're just passing through?"

Across the bridge, another person looks out of the woods, then ducks back in behind cover.
OOC: map to come

Goldenhorn steps up beside Eraden, his jewelry jingling. His shield is on his arm, but his sword is sheathed. "As it happens, we are on our way to a wedding," he says pleasantly. "May I ask why you are guarding this bridge?"

Graval repeats what Goldenhorn said, attempting to sound friendly, "Yep, we're headin' fer a weddin', fun times, what."
