Khazin leave the group and return to the city with the family, escorting them safely back and to take care of his wounded leg. The rest of the group continue further on the road that lead to the farmhouse. After another thirty minutes of walk without en encounter, their destination is in sight.
A neglected farmhouse sits in the middle of an untended field overgrown with weeds. Pumpkins killed by frost rot in their patches amid flattened rows of brown cornstalks and snow-dusted fields of grain hemmed in by broken wooden fences. The farmhouse has two stories, but one corner of the upper floor has collapsed, exposing the interior.
As you approach the house, you hear a child screaming somewhere inside.

Deimos moves more quickly towards the door and carefully knocks at it with his staff
"Hello? Can we be of assistance?" Deimos asks, not sure about the cause of the screaming.

Ghourra is not so patient with the sound of a screaming child nearby. Putting a hand on Deimos' shoulder, she steadies herself and kicks in the door.
Bellegon doesn't even try to get in front. He speeds toward the window, pulling shadows around himself. He peeks through the window to see what's going on.
OOC: full move, but stealth (at -5) in case someone has readied action to shoot (stealth +15 -5 = +10, roll if needed) - obviously this assumes there are windows on the house
