The group, followed by Zelgar, decides to move now before Ulmar have time to react from his failed attack. Following the direction given my Clarissa corpse, the group head toward Sylbaran.

As you approach a misty crossroads, you see the telltale signs of an execution and burial site—the weathered gallows, unadorned gravestones, and crumbling walls surrounded by dead grass and cracked dirt covered in small patches of snow.

The group recognize the crossroad spoken by Clarissa's corpse. As they are about to take the northern road, Ghourra's keen senses allow him to hears hushed weeping and a child’s cough coming from underneath the gallows.

Ghourra releases her floating lantern. As it hangs in the air, the mul commands it to float towards the source of the sound, shining a light over the darkness.

OOC: The lantern is shedding bright light in a 10-square radius unless otherwise specified.

OOC: Just for note, the full moon give dim light around you, except in the radius of the lantern.

As the lantern approach, you hears the child's voice shouting before it get muffled. Ghourra takes a look under the gallows and see a family, a man, a woman and three children, you guess between 5 and 15.

Ghourra beckons the family out of hiding.

"Come into light. Fear not wolf nor darkness while light of Dol Arrah shines upon you."

She offers the family a hand in getting to their feet.

A young girl, 8 or 9 years old, is about to accept the hand of Ghourra when the father grab the arm of the girl and pull her back near him. He then whispers to Ghourra. "Sorry sir, you seems trustworthy, but the werewolves are cunning and take many shapes. I have no reason to trust you."

OOC: A note, the lantern is between them and the rest of the group, so the family is probably partly blinded by the lantern and would only see shadows of everyone except Ghourra who is near them while the group is still on the road between 15 and 30 feet away.

OOC: Someone got a good diplomacy that wants to try to convince them we're safe? I have some bluff, but figure diplomacy is a good option first if someone's got it.

"There are worse things in the darkness then werewolves as they are about to find out. You may come out. Trust doesn't get into play here as we already know you're here. They will not harm you."

Sibilant whisper comes from aside as one shadow dettaches itself from aside and takes form of a drow, only merest bit less shadowy then the darkness.

Pointedly, he does not includes himself in those who would not harm them.

Stealth; Influence roll (diplomacy) (1d20+15=33, 1d20+7=22) - if you think this is more bluff it's 29, if it's intimidate it's 31 :E
