[SBLOCK=OOC]The tower walls stands up for over 6 feet... at least, where there is no hole. There is only three of them. One north, one east (where Gog is) and one south (where you are).[/SBLOCK]

"I think there are more in the forest, though I don't know what they are." he whispers to Narvala "We should stay in the cover and let them come to us, but we'll need the others awake."

Then at the top of his lungs the powerful orc lets out a bloodcurdling scream before tossing his javelin at the owlbear. The javelin land just in front of teh owlbear, a feet away of his head only.

Whether it was the owlbear's screech or some inborn survival instinct, Sweetness seemed to snort and snuffle at the first hint of trouble. Within moments the gnoll was fully awake, reaching for her weaponry. "Sweetness likes it when breakfast delivers itself, yep yep yep," she growled huskily, even as she moved to the edge of the tower...

"Wake up everybody. There's trouble!" Narvala says with more force in her voice than many of you would have thought, until you remembered that she spent close to a decade as an officer in Thrane's armies.

But she can't see a way to get a clear line of to the creature without leaving the tower, and she's not about to do that without some melee types in front of her.

Gruff stands up, quickly draw his blade and walk outside the tower, standing in front of Gogmorthak, ready to welcome the owlbear.

Radtash, waken by Narvala's warning, stands up too and get ready to attack anyone that come into his sight.

The owlbear move foward and reach Gog. He hits him with both his forelegs and grab the Orc.

Gruff hear the sounds of metal against stones as daggers fly over his head and hit the tower, but with the owlbear in front of him. He spots only one kenku who quickly disappear in the trees.

A wind mage throw a bolt of force that hit Gruff who hit the dwarf. The wind mage try to hide in the trees, flying into the branches, but he is unable to find a good spot.

[SBLOCK=OOC]Narvala shouts reduce the Perception DC to 10. That allow Gruff and Radtash to quickly wake up. Perception roll: Gruff, Radtash (1d20+4=22, 1d20+8=14)

Gruff stands up, draw his weapon and move in front of Gogmorthak (O8).

Radtash stands up and ready Sacred Flame at the first creature he can see.

The owlbear move to O9-P10, that trigger Radtash ready action: Sacred Flame on Owlbear (1d20+8=21, 1d6+4=10) Hit for 10 damages and Gruff get 6 THP.

The owlbear decide to attack Gogmorthak. Owlbear double attack on Gog (1d20+12=25, 2d6+5=10) and Owlbear double attack on Gog (1d20+12=18, 2d6+5=13) Both hit for 23 damage. Gog is grabbed.

The sneaks attack Gruff: Sneak on Gruff (1d20+9=12, 3d4+10=18, 1d20+9=20, 3d4+10=18, 1d20+9=19, 3d4+10=19) All miss. I forgot to give them Combat Advantage, but would still miss...

Just an FYI, I inadvertently left one of Narvala's class abilities off of her LEB character sheet which would have been helpful in the past and is likely to be now.

Any time she uses a daily or encounter divine attack power on her turn, she can slide an ally within 10 squares 1 square. So Gog will not be grabbed once she acts.

[SBLOCK=OOC]Notes: The Assassin was last seen at Q16

All squares with red symbol are difficult terrain. O8, O9 and CC6 are also difficult terrain (the red symbol is hidden behind tokens).[/SBLOCK]

"Fighting them outside where they can hide is no good, yep yep yep," Sweetness growled as the kenku made their presence known. "Lets get back inside, make them come get us..."

OOC: The map I can see as an attachment is basically blank, just the tower and forest, with no markers- but it doesn't matter. Sweetness will move back into the center of the tower and open up the hatch, intending to retreat back into the Tor itself. That way if the kenku want to come get us, they have to come in through the narrow entry stairs instead of lurking in the trees and being all sneaky.

OOC: Same here. But since Narvala doesn't want to be in melee, and may very well want to use a power that requires LoS or is a blast rather than a ranged or area, it does matter for her.

This is probably a terrible idea, or at least a dangerous one. Narvala thinks, as she steps out of the tower to get a clear line to attack the owlbear. But she strikes the owlbear with a ray of radiant energy, slides it a little away from her allies, and then follows up by engulfing the creature in holy fire.

Move to K13.
Attack with Sun Strike.
Use an action point to attack with Purging Flame.
attack with Sun Strike vs. REF; dmg; use AP to attack with purging flame (+3 to hit due to Action Surge) vs REF; dmg (1d20+10=26, 1d8+7=12, 1d20+13=25, 1d10+7=9)

Sun Strike hits for 12 radiant damage, and Narvala slides the owlbear to P10-Q11. Purging Flame hits the owlbear for 7 fire damage, and ongoing 10 fire damage (save ends). Since she used a daily power, she can slide an ally with 10 squares 1 square, so she'll move Gog back to M8.
