The bard slices and stabs himself repeatedly until his body can't take the punishment anymore. Sharpe looks one more time at the statue before he blacks out. Much to his dismay the statue still stands.

ooc: Sharpe is unconscious. (0 HP)

Ooc: Statue Summary:
1. Three party members have made a sacrifice. The self-inflicting wounds did not damage them. The wounds damaged the statue.
2. Sharpe made another attack on himself. The statue took damage, but so did Sharpe. All new damage applied by Sharpe on himself in this latest barrage of self mutilation had no affect on the statue at all. From this last attack, the party concludes that the statue has a limit to how much damage it can take from one party member of the party.
 

OOC: I think we all did some damage to ourselves...now, a bit metagaming, I think Prime is prime candidate for extra damage, given his hitpoints and number of surges.
 

Prime releases a low whistle, strangely similar to a sigh.

Said that, Prime strikes himself with the hammer (ooc: normal melee basic attacks), watching closely the statue to see, after each hit, if it suffers damage.

As Prime strikes himself with his hammer, the right arm of the statue breaks off and falls to the ground. The rest of the statue's body follows suit, crumbling into rubble. In front of the party is now a large iron set of double door. Upon further inspection, the hinges are well oiled. They door looks as if it will open inward. No apparent traps on the door. The disabling of the pressure plate and the dismantling of the statue seem to be the only defenses block entrance to the door.

This was more of puzzle than a skill challenge. You will receive xp for solving it.

2. Damage caused by another another adventurer to you caused now damage to the statue.
3. There was a damage maximum that one adventurer could cause on oneself.

What is your plan? Sharpe is resting comfortably on the ground with his dragon perched over him, nudging him with his claws, carefully not to puncture him. There is a faint smile that appears on the bard every time the dragon performs this action. The door does look like it would take some effort to open as it is so massive. The ceiling here is 20 feet tall. The door is at least 15 feet tall.
 

Drew spends a moment to recover, binding punctured leg, working it our slightly to make sure it words properly.

He then tries to stop the crazy bard from bleeding out.

It's alive! It's alive! Sharpe announces dramatically and rising unnaturally from the floor with his arms stretched it. He then examines them.

Awwww. The necromancer did not raise me as one of his minions. How disappointing. Well maybe next time.
