[Adventure] The Mine-Militia Identity. (DM: horticulture; Judge: covaithe)

OOC: Here is the new and improved Felix. His surge value went up by 2 so I bumped him to 27 HP.

Two notes to horticulture:
1) Our initiatives went up by one. I know I forget that as a GM often enough.
2) Felix now has Sly Dodge so he gets to add 2 to his AC vs. 1 opportunity attack each combat.

GM: In all honesty, I was planning on having the dragon disappear for a level or two, and then writing up an adventure (maybe a small vignette just for Sharpe) to reintroduce the dragon as his permanent mount.

So! I'd say save the Mounted Combat feat for fourth level.
GM:

OOC: OK sound great, thanks :)

I assume the dragon does not "level up" with us?

Also did we get a AP from that last encounter?

Sharpe: Feat: strength of valor (+2 to damage to next attack when granted THP), switch out perception for endurance and picked up Inspiring Fortitude (AKA Invigorating Presence)

GM: I'm going to leave the dragon at level 1 for this adventure, as the group seems to be doing fine as is.

And, yes, that combat was a milestone and everyone's received another AP.

The dwarf woman continues in her tale. "Kalavar was in the process of creating a communication device that allows contact between different parts of the mine. If you could figure it out, you could talk to him directly. You might even be able to coordinate an attack strategy. The miners were able to set up a great many traps and barricades between here and where they were finally holed up." She looks over each of the party members. "Or you could just charge headlong into the remaining bastards. Up to you."

GM: Two possible routes:

1. You can try to activate the magical communications network that Herquen mentioned (which is a skill challenge).
2. You can bypass the skill challenge and attack the remaining monsters directly.

Sharpe and the dragon go over to a corner for a bit and talk the decision over. A couple minutes later they walk away.

We've come to a conclusion. Sharpe announces. While charging right in sounds really, really, really fun, we think that it would be a better "experience" to make the magical communications network work.
