[Adventure] Trouble in Moonwatch (Judge: THB) - Part II

[SBLOCK=OOC]I have 1 Healing word left from combat. I suppose I could spend it before a short rest. I would give it either to Faell or River, but I think Faell is already out of Healing Surge... am I right?[/SBLOCK]

Valahad slams his blade into the remaining enemy and knocks him out, all is suddenly quiet except for the heavy breathing of the heroes. River is still in trouble though.

attack (1d20+13=29, 1d8+9=12) damage is non-lethal so the H1 is unconscious [/sblock]

OOC: Sheeva actually killed this guy with her Howling Tempest. He took 5 damage at the start of his next turn. Sheeva will turn off the tempest before Val takes 5 damage though since he had to enter it to attack the foe.

Pulling his family spellbook out Pok flips to the ritual section, under health & healing, Something useful... Oh. Taking the state of the group into mind, he offers to spread the regenerative energy around. Before that, we should probably hide these bodies, cover up the tracks from the fight... The little gray robes swish while Pok walks around noting various precautions "we should take", he stops still in the middle of the battle-zone, and begins extending his arcane being, searching for useful tools.

[sblock=OOC] comrades succor? Pok is also detecting magic with a roll of 26. [/sblock]

Feall searches the body of the tiefling and locates an excellently crafted ornate dagger and a nice piece of flawless Onyx. There's a pair of gauntlets on the enemy as well. There's also a nice dragonshard that Sheeva can utilize. A belt on one of the warriors looks like it might be perfect for Pok. A cloak from the tiefling catches Feall's eye as well, and one of the warrior's chainmail looks perfect for River. An amulet is Valahad's spoils. Sheeva acquires the tiefling's robes.

Pok had already been awarded some coinage from his House for the return of the information in the map case from the dead adventurer.

The cloaks seem to fit well enough, although Sheeva is quite a bit thinner than any of the patrol. Pok is able to mend the various tears and scorch marks from your attacks.

There is also some coins scattered amongst the archers and warriors.

[MENTION=2011]KarinsDad[/MENTION] - don't forget your belt of nourishment - the +3 to endurance wasn't noted in your skills section of your post/mini-stats. Also, Essentials errata will be hitting weapon focus for implement users. Just a note, in case it was missed.

Feall - level 5 gold - Gauntlets of Blood (level 4 item) + 160 gp (Onyx) & +2 Cloak of Translocation (n+3 item <- level 6)
Sheeva - level 5 gold - Siberys Shard of the Mage (level 3 item) + 320 gp (the dagger is worth it) - I think this is the parcel you've got remaining. Please correct me if I'm wrong & +2 robes of stoneskin (n+2 item <- level 6)
Pok - level 5 gold - Viper Belt (level 4 item) + 160 gp (those maps you had in the case from before are worth this to your house)
Valahad - Amulet of Protection +2 - level 6 item (instead of n gold)
River - +2 Armor of Healing (Finemail) - level 10 item (n+4 item <- lvl 6 item)

Plus there's some gold:
River/Val - 200 gp
Pok/Sheeva/Feall - 168 gp

[sblock=Cloak info]
Level: 9
Price: 4,200 gp
Item Slot: Neck
Enhancement: +2 Fortitude, Reflex, and Will

Property: When you use a teleportation power, you gain a +2 bonus to AC and Reflex until the end of your next turn.

Power (Daily): Minor Action. You regain the use of an encounter teleportation power that you have already used during this encounter.[/sblock]

When I finally get Sheeva's character sheet finished (it took me 5 hours to get Grys' sheet done today, I hate that wiki format :rant: ), I'll make sure the Endurance skill is correct.

Ok, so let me see if I got this straight:

normal level 5 gold: 168 GP
level 5 parcel gold: 320 GP plus 680 GP Siberys Shard of the Mage = 1000 GP
level 6 level+2 parcel: +2 Stoneskin cloth armor

When do we level up? Sheeva's gonna need it. So far, errata has kicked 5 off of her ranged AC and 1 from her damage. I'll need to trade her in for a Barbarian pretty soon. ;)

Course, doing that will mean another 5 hours at the wiki. Sigh.

You'll level as soon as you take an extended rest. In fact, because it's been so long since I handed out xp, I believe you may actually level twice if you cash in RP's (which of course you are not required to do). I don't like it happening that way, so my apologies to the players for that.

Of course, you can always swap weapon focus for Two-weapon fighting...I think. You have the treasure right. I gave treasure + gold instead of just gold as soon enough the new classifications come into play and I didn't think people wanted to be stuck just getting "common" items...

[sblock=ooc]
THIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES, THIS IS NOT AN XP AWARD - just to make it clear ;)

XP
Total - 2578 <- Val, Feall, Sheeva, and River
Korthauk - 1373 <- Korthauk
Pok - 1313 <- Pok

Plus 7 RP's for the four + 2 for Pok

With the 4 Sheeva's earned previously she can easily grab another level (hence my distribution of the level 6 treasure item as well, same for Feall (although he earned 3, not 4 RP).

[SBLOCK=OOC][MENTION=46724]Tea[/MENTION]m: Ok, as Faell have no more HS, before the short rest, River spend his last Healing Word on himself (regain HS Value + Healing Word (3d6+10=22)), putting himself at 43/49. He will then use Life Transferance on Faell, losing 9 hp but giving 19 to Faell. River will spend 1 HS.

River: 43/49
Faell: 33/37

With Faell without any healing surge, it is risky for him to fight. I can keep him alive one combat, using Life Transference, but that's risky. If I fall, Faell will easily fall as he will have no more second wind.

[MENTION=54810]renau1g[/MENTION]: Is it a chainmail or a finemail?[/SBLOCK]
