Illarions calls into being a bolt from his mind which screams into the swarm attacking the cleric. It kills especially big baby rat and it's shadow detaches and flies toward it's parent, followed by multihued copy of the original bolt. Instead of seeking comfort it seeks blood and the big rat falls down.

[sblock=OOC]Hunzu has pushed the Rat Swarm away from Kamotz and Whiggins so they shouldn't take the secondary attack for being in the Rat Swarms aura.
[DM: Actually you killed the Rat Swarm. Same applies though. The Rat Swarms last hit is redacted. It was a miss though. So Stats stay as is.][/sblock]
Ha ha! laughs Kamotz as he watches his blood pool beneath him,
You started this one Sound, want to finish it off? asks the overly happy shifter.
Sound of Stone dashes back into the fray where he launches another attack at the dire rat.
The blow strikes the rat in a burst of thunder that slightly injures the rat beside it.

The dark light emanating from the shifter pulses once, filling the whole space in the black light. When the torchlight again overtakes the space, the dire rat looks distorted, further away.
Death will take you. says Kamotz, as he swings back atop Whiggins.
Illarion, this door here, before the hidden space. the flail extends toward the south-east door, and Kamotz says a short prayer,
Sound of Stone, it isn't your time yet. the Thri-Kreen is immediately filled with a renewed sense of vigor, a focus and fervor as if he had just begun battle. Kamotz smelled the air savoring the feel of the moment, the freshly spilled blood, and the old crypt mmingling together in his nostrils.

Forgo save vs ongoing 3 damage
[DM: I assume you are forging the ongoing 3 damage because you think you didn't take the attack, because Hunzu killed the rat. However, since the first attack hit and the 2nd missed, I'm going to rule that the Miss would have been the aura attack. If you don't need to roll for another reason, please let me know.

The remaining rats seem to become more feral with its fallen bloodied body. They group together at the end of the hall and slice at the thri-keen with their dagger like teeth, but he quickly deflects each blow.
