I hope Erik and the other editors (James and Jason) take what I posted in this thread (post #36) and in this thread (post #42) for the highest form of praise it was intended to be.

I've never written a letter to the editor to either Dragon or Dungeon, because most of them strike me as being either too sappy with praise or too whiney with criticism, but this is the closest I've ever come.

The Dragon and Dungeon staff are doing a great job. And kudos especially to Erik for his crusade to keep Greyhawk alive. I also greatly appreciate the fact that you guys actually take the time to read and post in discussions here. Of course I don't expect you to make changes based on everything you read here, but it shows a great deal of concern and respect for this community for you to be as plugged in as you are.

I just wanted to add my "thanks" to the list. Reading your responses to posts on messageboards like this and in Dungeon magazine it's clear to me that you are extremely dedicated to making Dungeon the best DM aid around. At the same time you've worked damned hard to appeal to a broad range of D&D players with an even broader range of interests, preferences and opinions as to the direction Dungeon should take... a laudable task of Herculean scope.

I have not seen a better Dragon or Dungeon mag. since Eric came to the helm. I definitely like where Dungeon is going and believe it is down to a fine team, and importantly a fine editor. Still, I'm sure the sales figures tell you that much louder than I can...
