Ancient Forebear's Rage = Wow?

i have a question
you do that rage thing with a vorpal falchion while wearing gauntlets of destruction
and lets just say you rolled 1-1 the vorpal would go off twice plus you would reroll those ones
those ones could then go vorpal even more times and so on and so forth
would it work this way?

Yes, and thats a great strategy for high level play.

However, if you find three different sources (due to new errata) that increase your weapons brutal factor (including the gauntlets of destruction) and it is also a vorpal weapon, a strange thing happens.

According to The wording on Brutal, you are required to reroll the damage dice on any number not higher then the brutal factor (ie, if it is brutal 3 you must reroll 1s, 2s, and 3s.).
According to the wording on Vorpal, when you rol the maximum number on any damage dice (12 on a d12, 6 on a d6, 4 on a d4) you must reroll and add the maximum number to your next roll.

This leads to a literally unstoppable (you are unable to stop) damage roll and therefore you can NEVER finish your damage roll. So you can get infinite damage on your roll but you never actually deal infinite damage. In fact, you never do any damage. Time stops and the game literally breaks.

I'm sorry, but wut?

GoD don't increase brutal if a weapon already has it. The only thing that I can think of that ever did was the battle engineer 11th level perk, and errata has made that not stack either, specifically to avoid this issue.
