Angel 3/19 (Spoilers)

Loved the episode. LOVED the episode. I don't think I've ever yelled at my TV that much in a sigle hour. From the exultation of seeing Faith and Willow kicking butt for goodness sake, to yelling at Conner for being a dolt.

I luckily was not interrupted by news broadcasts, but I did get 5 phone calls. No one calls me all week, except when Angel is on. Why????? So, as a result I missed a few details. Anyone mind clarifying?

What's the androgeny comment?
Willow calls Connor, IIRC "handsome yet androgynous," upon meeting him.

What happened to Angel in Chicago, circa the 20s that he had to relive?
He was in a diner when someone came in to rob the place. The guy shot the register jockey and ran out. Angel gave in to temptation and after the register jockey started to die (or was actually dead), fed off him. Ew.

Nono, that was in the 70's. In the 20's he ran in front of a car/truck to save... a puppy.

wb11 in nyc cut out at 9:54.
thats right 9:54
faith and angel were chatting about her departure for sunnydale and then suddenly im being told that nothing is going on.
they couldnt wait TWO MINUTES before telling me that nothing was going on?

if they woulda ditched the show completely, or even at the same time every other local network did, i wouldnt have cared... but during the last scene? wtf?

so i see cordelia revealed the pregnancy to the whole gang.
was there anything else to the final scene?

Wow. I know it was a little nuty and confusing but the whole scenes from Angel's life. Nice. I also liked the comments tossed by Cordy at Willow (albeit not to her face.) Also loved the ass kicking Faith gave Connor. I will agree he seriously annoyed me, but I also think he's still a kid and thus isn't as knowledgeable about some stuff as others. The whole dream/hell sequence, very nice. Overall it was a nice ep, but I can't wait to see what happens next week to get all revved up for Buffy's finale with Angel.

steve, read the above.

(I was lucky. WB in Pittsburgh doesn't cut to stuff.)

Well, we can't be too upset by Conner's idiocy. Really, its not his fault. He is a kid- who happens to have spent the largest portion of his life in a hell dimension raised by someone who was certainly stunting his emotional growth, with no real experiece with human evils like manipulation(in Hell I imagine good and evil is only a matter of whether it will eat you, not whether it will sleep with you and twist you around her finger), and Cordelia is the first real compassion he has felt from someone he did not want to kill.

He has excuses. He is still an idiot. Especially after she smakced him around, and barred her door from something immaterial, and somehow undid the sanctuary spell. He should know something is up. He should know she would not turn her back on Angel.

Course, no one else seems to notice either. I was really hoping Willow suspected SOMETHING!

What is her excuse for hiding upstaors again?

Ok, can someone clarify this for me (I could find it on the tape again I guess but...) - did Willow say to Fred something like "I'm seeing someone"!?!?!? I mean what's up with that? :)

Yes. Fred is clingy and now that I think about it, probably has an adventurous side. ;)
