Whoa.KnowTheToe said:IMO I think it is, if I use your own logic, which is based of self centric analysis and not that of characters, I still disagree. If I were afraid of Angelus, I would not want to be isolated by myself, in a room where no one can see me, in a room no one can hear me, in a room without any defences, ALONE.
When my friends are injured, I visit them, no matter how busy I am. There has been plenty of opportunity. If my friend was mentally anguished over a situation, I would confort them. The Conner only thing may be neccessary for story, but it is a weakness in the portrayal of the characters. THAT IS MY OPINION. I AM SORRY IF YOU DO NOT AGREE.
One thing that would help this conversation would be to try and figure out how many days have passed since Angelus has been out and around. It's probably no more than a few days. Additionally, we have no proof that no one but Connor has visited her in said days. Maybe just poking a head in or knocking on the door; it is possible. Plus, Cordy has been very isolated since her return anyway. She has really only spoken to Angel and Connor on the one-on-one basis. The rest she almost always speaks to as a group.
I guess my point is that her estrangement is not something new. I respect your take on the situation, KnowTheToe as it affects the way you view the show and your entertainment level. I just happen to disagree because of the way I see the situation.

Add to things that Cordy doesn't really want to see anyone and that the Angel crew isn't exactly concentrating on her and it makes perfect sense to me. Now if they had some reason to keep an eye on her besides trying to figure out what was going on and not get slaughtered by Angelus then I could see her isolation being a bit contrived. No big.
