I don't actually think she is the First, I think the baby is the Buffyverse equivalent of the antichrist - a portion of the First made manifest. That little piece is what's making her all wonky.

Umm Cordy has no Story Holes.

They have been worried about Angelus. The most viscious vampire of all time (there are many prophecises written about him), they were trying to keep him from killing people and dealing with the beast.

Connor has watched over her and they know the boy can hold his own. It makes sense. Angel, the man she loves isnt there.

Fred cant protect her. And Wesley and Gunn are two of the maiin fighters, and Lorne has been doing his own magick thing.

It all makes sense

I disagree.

She is upstairs, they have all gone up to bed to get some sleep, ate a snack, stretched their legs. It is one of their closest friends and they don't have 30 seconds at least once a day. Also Cordy often contributes to the groups problem solving and has some unknown powers of divination, it is way out of her personality to stay days in bed without as much as a hello. It is a hole, the show is still good, but it is a major flaw in the portrayal of her and the others characters. It may be a neccesary railroading for the story, but it is a visable hole.

You are wrong. Remember, out of everyone there, she has faced Angelus and lived. Twice. Wesley only has once.

If you faced a seriel killer and nearly died, twice and survived, wouldnt you be hiding out in your room WHERE you need invitation to get in?

I would. Especially if i was hurt.

And dont forget Conner has been watching her and telling everyone she is sleeping or needs rest or some such nonsense.

The last 5 min or so were cut off here in Chicago, too. Luckily, I was able to get ahold of a complete copy, though.

Ok, can someone clarify this for me (I could find it on the tape again I guess but...) - did Willow say to Fred something like "I'm seeing someone"!?!?!? I mean what's up with that? :)

Fred was in nerdy mode and saying how she wanted to talk with Willow about some specific piece of ancient text that was funnier in Latin or something, and it seems Willow thought Fred might have been coming onto her. So Willow replied that she was seeing someone, which seemed like a non-sequitur to Fred.

Personaly, I think it might be the BABY thats possessed and controlling cordelia's body.

Did you guys catch that line when Cordy is dueling Willow, and Cordy says, "If only this was a few weeks later..." We don't know exactly what Cordy meant by that, but it seems like she's going to become more powerful as the fetus develops. So there's definitely a link to the baby, but is it Cordy that's evil, the baby, or both?

And it all comes full circle. Did anyone else notice Fred mentining the Perdigm Codex? Yup, the exact book that was lost, found by Angel and used to decipher Buffys Death.

All I can say is I can't wait for next week's ep and I hope that some how this all gets tied up very nicely. (Though not so as there's not another season of Angel at least.)

Cordellia is leaving the show. For a while at least.

Charisma is pregnant in real life, according to Charisma-Carpenter.com. She's due on March 17'th. This is around the time they are filming episode 20. It's not known how much time Charisma will take off or how her absence will be explained.

So i guess we will find out huh?

No i'm not, your wrong! What the hell is that, I thought you were open minded, silly me.

IMO I think it is, if I use your own logic, which is based of self centric analysis and not that of characters, I still disagree. If I were afraid of Angelus, I would not want to be isolated by myself, in a room where no one can see me, in a room no one can hear me, in a room without any defences, ALONE.

When my friends are injured, I visit them, no matter how busy I am. There has been plenty of opportunity. If my friend was mentally anguished over a situation, I would confort them. The Conner only thing may be neccessary for story, but it is a weakness in the portrayal of the characters. THAT IS MY OPINION. I AM SORRY IF YOU DO NOT AGREE.
