Animé d20 OoC

Ah, right, thanks.
Must've been because of an alternate wording running through my mind was "bequeath unto me thine character sheet." Whatever.

I think Imerak gets the point one way or another anyway.

Say....when determining what spells are available to me with Dynamic Sorcery, what sources can I draw from? Core only (PHB/SRD)? Or other books such as Spell Compendium and so on?

Hmm... I suppose you can get spells from wherever you may find them. You may have to run certain ones by me first, but otherwise go wild.
Just remember, not all dimensions are created equal, and in this game, some spells may not work quite as expected in some places, and some not at all. You have been warned...

Hee hee. But of course. Misfires are half the fun of magic. :)

Hmm, as a general flavor issue, how 'anime' is this game gonna be? Is shouting out spell names amidst massive flares of waste energy appropriate? Or are we shooting for something a bit more "grounded?" :)

Heh, you know I'm not going to make a call on that. I think I'll leave it up to each of you just how stereotypically animé you all want your characters to be. If this means we have some people explaining to the universe the intense way they do everything, and some that would rather pretend they didn't know them, so be it.

Hmm... Imerak was last seen a week ago. I'd like to know by who...
Would anyone with knowledge of Imerak's whereabouts (and more improtantly his character) please call Hold-up Stoppers at WTF-TIPS. Thank you.

(sorry, I'm bored. until this game starts, i will post random, pointless things (preferably just editing to keep the board short))

edit:whoops, i knew i should have finished this before leaving. Pretend shayuri hadnt posted that yet!

Alright, it's been far too long since we last heard from Imerak. Imerak, if you show up soon, I can still manage to squeeze you in, but otherwise you're just going to have to wait until there is plausible opportunity.

Everyone else, if you hadn't guessed, this means I am starting the game now.

A few things first; this board will now only be used for the more major things. I'll still check it frequently, so if you need something, you'll still get a response.
My prefered method is to have OoC in brackets, character speech in quotes, and character actions normal:
character action
"character speech"
(not what the character does)
any objections/differences are fine, let me know.

As for dice rolling: I am lazy and trusting. I am going to let you roll your own dice, and not even request you give me a link to the roll. I trust that you know the game is more fun with this random element, and will take steps if I suspect cheating. If, however, anyone wants me to roll their dice (for a more dramatic, less "does an 18 hit?" game) I am also perfectly fine with that, or even if you feel like giving me a link to an online roller (for some odd reason). Just let me know your preferred method.

And thus, with this link to it:
let there be link!
Let the game begin!

PS: Shayuri, i may need your help to work out some details about your companion: for one, will you play it, or would you rather I?

I'm perfectly fine with playing it. In fact, it'd probably be easier if I did, since then I could just incorporate it's replies right into my posts without needing input.

Of course, feel free to insert GM Stuff as you like, since Servants are allowed to have agendas that their parent characters aren't aware of. :)

PS - It's Thessaly. With an LY at the end. Just FYI. ;)

Okay, that works for me just fine, gives me a chance to learn the personality you want for it in case i need to abduct it for GM business.

PS: I know, it was a typo.

Kafkonia: You too managed to catch me in between posting and creating the actual page. It is now an actual link.
