Another day in the Tavern

Khaira smirks at Kulideb as she hears her talk about Elminster and his privacy. "Well, you know, I heard Elminster favors the refined arts. And a band of travelling ministrels of Agudo's Fine School would be looked upon well, I'd wager!"

"I wonder what it's like back home..."
"There are...a few other places that I would like to travel to. This trip is not limited by going to only one place, you know."

She looks at Gene for a moment, lack of expression is read in her eyes and she wonders one thing silently, "Should I tell him the truth?"
For but a moment, a look of...pity?remorse? Or maybe, reminisience, flashes before her eyes. She takes a long drink of wine.

As she listerned to Khaira talk about Elminster she noticed a far away look in her eyes, some how Kulideb thought she seems a little sad...

A tall man with a goatee enters. The only item of clothing visible is his full-length oat, which is pulled tightly about his form, especially the neck area. A mass of black hair falls about most his face, masking mostly his brown eyes. He moves in slowly, and when he speaks his voice is hoarse-sounding.

What a day...

He takes a seat near the fire, completely exhausted from his travelings.

Welcome, Wolfram!

Gene glanced over to the man...and even though he wasn't entitled to the same scent abilities as the lycanthrope, the man still seemed...somewhat familiar, even though he had never met him. Setting aside his own immediate distrust, he smiles to the man.

"Hey...you...tired one. Would you like to join us? Th'tavern's awfully quiet, an' I'd hate t'bore another traveller."

He then looks over to Khaira...and for just a moment, deep distrust flickers in his eyes, which seem windows to his emotion at times.

She's going to...isn't she?

It quickly fades, as he smiles at the elf...as not to arouse any attention to his own thoughts.

"Say...Khaira...all this talk about th'trip, yet you still haven't given us a date to go on it. Can y'be as kind as t'tell me one?"

((Please keep the threads in the CrossRoads Tavern board in Greyhawk. Discussing another world is acceptable, but actual travel there must take place on the Map of the Planes Board. Thank you, I appreciate your cooperation.))

She seems to come out of deep thought...reminiscience flashes in her eyes for a moment?

"Hm? Oh, what's that...a date, you say? I would like to be gone from here in a week, but who's to say? There's still so much planning to be done."

Anyone who is highly observant will notice that she, herself, seems to only plan going to these places...WIth that, she slips into deep thought again. WHat she sees, what she relives is hard to say...
"So many memories...so much loss.....it would be so easy to just dissapear from the group...regain my independence. Start anew. No one has to know about Khaira the Bard...

Wolfram inclines his head in the others direction, picking up that same scent from that message. He smiles feintly, rising to cross over to him.

"Thank you for the invitation, sir. I accept."

He takes a seat near the man, folding his hands in his lap. As always, his voice is hoarse.

"Tell me, sir, how fares your friend Kulideb?" He smiles genuinely.

"It'd be nice for you t'go on the trip...Khaira...but mind if I tag along? I'd like t'at least see you out of a school, or out of a tavern...once."

He grins slightly, as he takes another sip of his wine. He looks back to the man, and shrugs.

"She seems to've taken a liking to you...but...ask her yourself."

And with that comment...he motions with his head at Kulideb.

"And...as appreciated as your mannerisms are, you can call me Gene, if y'wish."

Produces a wry smile. He turns his head, having not noticed Kulideb at first, Gene's scent being more predominant than hers. He gestures to her feintly.

"Ah, M'lady Kuliedeb, I had not known your face, elsewise I would have greeted you. How fare you these days?"

Just as he finishes his question, a lean white wolf with one blue eye and one green eyes pads to his side, having gotten in through the door. She lies beside Wolfram, glancing about.Wolfram peers down at the she-wolf.

"Hello, Blue, love."
