Another day in the Tavern

[Khaira]

She looks to Gene, shrugging nonchalantly
"You know as well as I do that I don't control your destiny. If you want to come along, you can do so. I certainly have no objections.
And...out of a tavern? ME? Passing up the chance of my favorite past time?"She smirks "Though, I suppose we'll have to take up some sightseeing..." The glint in her eye almost seems to hint at doing something more than jsut "sightseeing". Like borrowing from a few rich locals... Or something.

 

[Gene_Kynes]

He smiles over to her, with...something indecipherable behind his eyes.

Same freedom values. Intriguing.

"Sightseeing...sounds fun. But where, exactly... you've never let escape from your lips."

He smirks, becoming faintly frustrated with her vagueness.

Travel Plans

"Zakhara, have you ever heard of that place? Flying carpets, roaming genies....I passed through once, I should like to take a tour through there.
Or, perhaps, Shadowdale, Icewind Dale. The options are endless. Any place you want to go? I care not..."
"...as long as we go. And go soon." Her eyes almost seem to finish the sentence with this, but her face is expressionless. She leans close to Gene...she wants to something of extremely relevant importance...
"This will be fun." is all she says, however. She leans back again, sipping contemplatively on her wine. Gene can easily see that there was something else that she should have said, though. Wanted to say, even....

 

[WolframVonKraushen]

Vaguely listens to Gene and the other woman speak, closing his eyes in contemplation. He soon opens them, glancing once more to Kulideb.

"Well, M'lady Kulideb, you have not told me how you fare in your other affairs. I am interested in knowing how you are doing."

 

[kulideb]

"Oh, not to bad. I have learnt quite a bit." she smiles over to Gene."And there is still more to come."
"How is the pack progressing?"

 

[Gene_Kynes]

"Can't say I have...sounds fun, though. I suppose I'd...look...out of place, though. And..is that a promise?"

He winks, taking note but not acting upon her odd expression as he takes a sip of his drink.

"...how does tomarrow sound? And are we to bring the class, or is this a non-academic venture?"

He looks over to Kulideb...and grins, faintly.

...Why does she always smile at me? She...hasn't...really experienced the Shadow Plane yet?

He looks over to Khaira, and sighs. He learns forward, and softly whispers:
"If we're going to Anarouch, by any chance, mind if we bring her? She...may learn a thing or two."

...before leaning back, awaiting an answer.

 

[WolframVonKraushen]

Wolf smiles at the question, folding his hands and tapping his chin. Blue lies watchfully at his side, unmoving, like a stoic guard. He gestures mildly as he speaks in his hoarse voice.

"Surprisingly well. I have three others persuaded to my cause, and I suspect the list shall grow. It brings forth a sense of unity, and I take pride in it. Whereas I shall miss my travelling, I do enjoy being part of a pack once more."

Blue twitches her ears, as if understanding what he says. She draws in a breath, holding her head proudly. Wolfram chuckles at this.

"Blue is one of the members of course. I meant to introduce her to you. M'lady Kulideb, this is my fine white wolven friend, Blue. Blue, this is miss Kulideb."

Blue dips her head, as if nodding.

 

[kulideb]

"Hello Blue" Said Kulideb. "I'm glad to hear things are going well for you."

She looks over to khaira."Any more thoughts on the trip my lady?"

 

[Khaira]

"It's up to Gene."is all she says

 

[Gene_Kynes]

He grins.

"I humbly surrender my choice-making rights in this discussion...to you, Khaira. "

With a wink, he then drains what remains in his glass.
