any good multiclass/PRCs for a high level sorc?

Okay, after going through all the trouble of making her, I'm not especially feeling my elven wizard/bladesinger. I guess part of the problem is too many spells and it's such a pain to keep up with what's what. Sooo, I'm thinking about creating a sorc instead. Are there any good multiclasses/PRCs that I should look at taking? I would prefer max (or close to max) spellcaster level in order to get the spells and spell penetration, etc. Also, what feats? Feats I'm thinking of:

Spellcasting prodigy
Spellfire wielder
Empower spell
maximize spell
spell penetration
extend spell

Any others? I don't have to go straight sorc, PRCs that give +1 caster level per level would be good too. Archmage, etc. I also thought about spellfire wielder.

All PRCs and feats should, if possible, come from the core books, FRCS, OA, or MoF. That or give me somewhere that I can find it free of charge.

Spellfire Wielder... ;)

If I were you I wouldn't choose both, Empower AND Maximize! Rather get Spell Focus.

Anyways... one of the most powerful PrC combinations would be Incantatrix/Archmage, I suppose.

Since an Aasimar gets a +2 to CHA, WIS, and something else and is only a +1 ECL, do you think it would be worth it to lose the one character level? Also, does the ECL affect my starting wealth since my effective character level is still 20?

Man, empower AND maximize...sheesh, talking about a small to medium nuclear explosion there...can we say a sorcerer's last revenge? Mwuhahahahaha!

Yeah, too bad it would add 5 levels to the spell. I just thought about having both to have them, you know? And choose whichever one seems more appropriate for the situation.

If you go by official epic rules after 20th level I think the dragon prc from tome and blood becomes really good because it adds to your spells after the 20 level cap.

Archmage is a very strong PrC, especially for a sorcerer, because the spells per day that you trade in for High Arcana is much cheaper for a sorcerer than a wizard. And if you take Spell Powers +1, +2, and +3, that adds up to +6 to add to any Spell Focus or Spell Penetration checks! (The description explicitly states that Spell Power stacks with itself.) But it's going to cost you three feats, a major investment for a sorcerer. But worth it.

Spellfire has been debated on these boards, and a lot of people (including myself) don't feel it's all that powerful. Having to ready an action to absorb magic means standing there wasting your time instead of casting spells, and as a spellcaster with 9th level arcane magic, you have better ways to spend your feats.

Consider taking the Guild Wizard of Waterdeep, or Mage of the Arcane Order. Gaining access to a Spellpool is a huge advantage to a Sorcerer, because it offsets the limited number of spells they know.

I'd decide on your PrCs before choosing feats.

The only problem with those last two PrCs is that we're planar travelling for an epic campaign and I'm not sure how well those spell pools will work. Also, I believe that the planar structure in the Manual of the Planes and the ELH is different from that offered in the realms, is it not? Our homeplace is Greyhawk. If my DM will allow it, though, that would be worth looking into those.

The spellpool will allow me to share spells put in by other sorcerers/mages and in return, I have to put some in of an equivalent level, correct? I.E. I don't have Stone to Flesh, but I need it. So I "borrow" it from the spellpool. At some point, I have to cast another spell of equivalent or higher level back into the spellpool to repay my "loan." That's how it works, right?
