Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me...

Here's a birthday song (well part of it anyway) courtesy of the Arrogant Worms and this webpage (for the lyrics).

Anyway here it is:
Happy birthday!
Now you're one year older.
Happy birthday!
Your life still isn't over.
Happy birthday!
You did not accomplish much.
But you didn't die this year, I guess that's good enough.

It was my understanding that the dragons were "dormant" for some reason or other, and just recently woke up. Imagine their suprirse....

I'll find out tomorrow and get back to you :)
But according to the trailer, the lady asked how their number (breeds) have increased in one year. I assume that they have been awakened for at least a year.

Personally I love seeing the big genre flicks on opening nights with packed crowded theaters. Its part of "the experience."

If by 'the experience' you mean having people talk through the whole movie, screaming babies, fuzzy picutres with bad sound systems then yeah - I can go for that ;)

I'm starting to agree with my audiophile friend that movies were made to be seen at home on DVD with a big-assed TV (not everyone can have that but you must know somebody ;) )

Nah, I'm lucky enough to live close to a newer well-equipped theater... good picture, good sound, nice large screen with decent seating... and rarely are the midnight shows interrupted by screaming babies:)

Sure, sometimes you get the jerk who thinks he is so FREAKISHLY important he simply MUST talk on his cell phone (most likely to his mother), but a sling shot and a few milk duds to the back of the head shuts him up.

The packed theaters are usually pretty well-behaved, at least in my experience. Its the ones with ~10 people in it where idiots feel they are free to hold conversations, talk back to the screen, or change the ring tones on their phones.
