A small furry ball, approximately 0.75 feet in radius (3 dimensional), is purple and can change colors to at least brown. It gives off a strong divine aura. It can fire a ray of frost and some sort of goo that is a DC 18 ref save or take -4 penalty to cha checks to interact with others till you can clean it off, or 1d4+2 days(whichever happens first). It apperas to have a speed of 90 ft per round.

it sounds to be about a cr 1 or 2, unless the goo does damage.

That appears to be a Plot Device. Caution! Plot devices are known to be quite potent and can easily be misused. Destroying it may result in the DM's melt-down. Failing to destroy it may cause the Device to become the focal point of the Plot as compared to the players.

Handle Plot Devices with care, if possible by keeping it "safe" in an extradimensional pocket where it is beyond normal sensing range and any spontaneous mutations will result in it being safely evacuated to astral space. It is recommended to put the Plot Device in an otherwise unoccupied extradimensional space to avoid incidental losses.
