Anyone know what's up with the GSL?

Last time I looked, I saw there was some info that said it might be posted last Thursday. I haven't seen anything more on it at this point. Was there anything else posted that I missed?

Yes. Apparently it was almost ready to go, but the Wizards team decided to make it more complete by adding in the Psionics and other references (so that you can use them the moment they get published) and it set it back a little bit more.

The Rouse posted on this earlier, although I'm not sure where the post was.

Scott Rouse mentioned more news coming today (16/06), so hopefully if we're lucky. They need to check the SRD wording and text, and one or two other things I think. There was a long blurb about this on the main page here a few days ago.

Gleemax is down, but the last info was (paraphrased): "On monday there is a great meeting. Nearly everything is finalized, only the SRD must be signed off by all project members. That is the purpose of the meeting. If all goes well, I hope it is put online after the meeting"

Hmm, why would they hold it back to post references to products that don't exist? That seems kinda odd especially since having references to Psionics isn't going to help me develop products as I won't have the Psionic rules until the PHB2 is released until sometime next year.

In any case, here's hoping to some sort of update today.

Scott mentioned they wanted to reduce the need to update it too often, so they were putting in as much as possible now. They wouldn't therefore have revision bloat in the document. I'm hoping this is a sign that not only the core will be included, but other material as well which will be a welcome departure from what they did in the 3e SRD.
