I am currently playing an apprentice level cleric bard. I have a wisdom of 15, meaning I get 1 1st level and 1 2nd level bonus spell.
My question is, it clearly states that apprentice level clerics get 1 1st level spell, but it MUST be a domain spell. My question is, what do I do about this bonus spell? Can I cast 1 first level spell or not? I mean, this is the difference between one cure light wounds spell and none.
On the regular class spell lists, a "-" means that the spell cannot be cast. however, a "0" signifies while you have no spells from your class, your bonus spells do apply. However, the chart on page 40 in the dmg does not specify between "-" and "0".
