The title says it all. There are many spells and effects which harms characters who have a particular alignment component, like chaotic/evil/good/lawful. But are there any item or abilities particularly effective against neutral characters?

Holy Word/Blasphemy still kill them, but you mean have more affect on a nuetral?

I can't think of any. Neutrals almost have best of all worlds. The designers might have been Druids fans.

Neutrals are often subject to half or the full effect of many alignment spells, so in soem respects they get screwed over pretty badly. It'salso a lot harder to have a party of neutral characters as opposed to all good/evil/chaos/lawful, as in the latter cases you can lay down freely many spells and have your friends be immune to them. With the exception of a few rare spells such as Word of Balance in SpC, can't really do that w/ neutrals.

Anyway, no. Don't know of any effects to specifically punish neutral foes.

Hm. So there seems to be none. I am just feeling that characters who chose to be chaotic/good/lawful for RP purpose are suffering too much comparing to neutral characters. If there are something particularly effective attack against neutral characters, it can be an interesting twist.

Thanks. It seems to work if the Glyph is combined with a non-area spell.

But it seems that I have to make up a somewhat logical reason why someone made such a trap.

Maybe something that goes off against those who are at least partially neutral... could be an anti-druid thing, then.

Worst thing that happened to my neutral character was getting his alignment forcibly changed. Though I dont know any spells, I was tricked into putting on an Item.
