Are watching the videos a requirement for the ONE D&D playtest?

I've noticed that the videos by WotC about the playtest have info that isn't in the actual documents that might help folks playtest. Or at least understand better what they are getting at. Or inform what they are testing.

From the playtest. I haven’t seen this discussed much. Has anyone tried this in play yet? I wonder if this would mean spells level ranges might get rearranged. Was anyone doing this as a house rule? edit to add a link to the point in the video where they say it's something they are...

I like watching them and enjoy the insight, but I'm not sure if it's good if they are required. Though maybe a mix of testers who have watched them and those that have not is a good thing.

the down grade being anything more then a range 1 shot feature for the volly ability, and why ranger is an expert at all.

There are. They could use cleaning up however which I started and gave up on.
