"Well I can drive a car and a jeep, but I don't think I can drive a hummer." Elyssa grinned. "But if we get locked out of it, I can open it right easy." her grin faded. "Um, does the hummer have anything that I should worry about? Like anti-ghost thingies that might mistake me for one?"

Xander comes to the table and looks like a kid in a candy shop. He ruffles the top of Vince's hair lightly, playfully. "Oh, I love new toys. And the jumpsuit suits me, ya? Hah!" As his eyes play over the equipment, he picks up the slime blower attatchment, hefting it appreciably. "Wow. Dis seems right up my alley. Of, if no one else wants it? He seems genuinley concerned that he's not scooping the equipment from somebody else. As he goes about adjusting the straps for himself, "Mama always said, to be nice and share." He breaks into a toothy grin.

William jumps foward after Xander makes his selection and grabs one of the cell phones and immediately starts playing with it. "Awesome...I can get to any of the websites...instant information from on-line supernatural sites...and I'm plugged in to..."

William's eyes widen as he realises something, furiously pushes some buttons, and then looks crestfallen and disappointed. He walks back to his pile of gear, starts suiting up, putting on his proton pack, and messing with his cell phone some more.

Dan Watzisnaam, failed actor

Since neither of the items Elyssa was looking for are what Dan wants to grab first, I'll go ahead and post this to save some time.

Dan, realizing it's finally his turn, nearly pounces on the video camera. He holds it aloft, triumphant, then quickly cradles it and returns to waiting for round two. He mutters to himself, "Eat it, Blair Witch Boys, I'm totally making a movie with real ghosts in it!"

 

[DEFCON 1]

"Um, does the hummer have anything that I should worry about? Like anti-ghost thingies that might mistake me for one?"

Vince shakes her head. 'No... Ecto-27 does not have any auto-firing mechanisms. There IS a proton cannon atop the Hummer, but you need someone in the turret to fire it. And that's just like any other proton pack... you get hit with it, it'll hurt regardless of whether you have PKE sensitivity or not. You'll be fine.' She turns to Whetney. 'So it looks like you'll be the driver, Miss Whetney. Good luck. It's a big one. And no, we won't need your license or paperwork. Just hope your insurance is paid up is all.'

Louis walks into the room and sees how the distribution of equipment has gone thus far. His daughter nods sagely at him.

'We're looking good, daddy. Whetney has the Electronic Book, Braunschwagger the Ecto-goggles, Hufflemeyer one of the cellphones, Pembroke the PKE Valence Meter, and Watzisnaam has the camcorder. Oh... and Whetney will be driving Ecto-27.'

She turns to Gina and nods her head.

'Two choices for you now, Ravensoul. What would you like from what's left?'

ooc: I believe Elyssa took the Pke meter and Goggles. If she can't have the goggles, She'll take the adventure gear. She's done some scuba and spelunking.

Xander seems to completely ignore, if he even heard, the criticism tossed at him as he considers. He does snap his head up when he hears about the Hummer. "Hah! I call ze turret! And, well, I can drive a Hummer, if I need to zat is. I make no guarantees of ze smoothness of de ride, though."

Elyssa grins. "Then I call shotgun." she looks at Braunschwagger "I think we need some ghost traps. I'll take one and you can have the goggles. I mean, we need someplace to store the ghosties once we catch them."

 

[DEFCON 1]

She picks up a trap and then settles for a cell phone, feeling loaded down enough as it is.

Vince nods. 'Very good. So Gina is full... which mean Dan, you have your next choice coming to you.

"I think we need some ghost traps. I'll take one."

If she can't have the goggles, She'll take the adventure gear.

'Miss Pembroke... you don't get to make your next selection yet. Not until Dan makes his second selection. Please follow the order set previously. Once Dan has selected his next item you can then choose to take whatever is left over. Thank you. Oh, and William, you're up after Pembroke.'
