Vince nods. 'Very good. So Gina is full... which mean Dan, you have your next choice coming to you.

Dan starts, jerked out of his private fantasy of a Golden Globe speech. "Oh, right. Again, and I ... " surveying what's left, Dan's eyes sparkle and a wicked little grin slides onto his face as he notes the Neuralizer.

"What's the best way to keep spoilers from hitting the internet if not wiping the little spies before they can type, right?" he says under his breath as he pockets the item.

"Your go, Elyssa."

Elyssa blushes. "Sorry." she looks at the remaining gear. "Well I was sort of waffling over a ghost trap or the adventure gear. Since Gina took a ghost trap, I think I'll go with the gear. We may need it." she grinned, gathering it up.

William grins and steps foward...

"This looks neat...not sure how I am going to use it, but hey, we'll see."

He takes the slimeblower attachment and starts puzzeling out how to hook it to his proton pack.

Xander nods thoughtfully and picks up a trap, sliding it into place on his pack. "Well, it's always good to be in ze middle of de action. And, since it's all dat's left... not much choice!"

As Vince watches Xander and Sara both grab the remaining ghost traps, she looks over the six Ghostbusters with an appraising eye.

'Very good. You almost look the part now.'

Louis takes a few seconds to inspect everything and he also nods.

'Yeah. Everything looks good. Wish we could spend some time with you... you know... to teach you how this stuff actually works. But we don't have time. You'll have to... just... kinda learn on the job. Okay?'

The group looks at each other questioningly as they realize that there won't be any training sessions. William especially looks confused as he keeps trying to attach the slimeblower tubes onto his proton pack without any success.

((OOC: Shaggy, please make a Moves roll to attach the slimeblower. TN 5))

'Time to go folks! Head on down the pole to the ground floor and get into Ecto-27. I'll have the paperwork you'll need the client to fill out plus the directions and such after you get down there and load all the gear up. Good luck! And make us proud!'

'And money. Especially make us money. Okay? Good. I better go call Janine and tell her we're going to be late for dinner.'

'Say hi to mommy for me.'

'Okay.'

((OOC: Everyone please make Moves rolls as you try to slide down the fireman's pole (TN unknown to you). If you succeed well, you'll get an extra Brownie Point. See the Talking The Talk thread to learn about the purpose and uses of Brownie Points.))

Dan puts the camera strap across one shoulder, so the strap hangs diaginally across his chest, then pops the neuralizer into his pocket. He starts singing "Into the Woods" as he troops over to the pole to make his descent.

OOC: Move 1+5+3=9

OOC: Can I use my "Shoot Proton Pack" skill to attach the slime shooter or just a plain moves roll. I'll go ahead and roll 5, ignore the bottom two if I can't use the skill.

"Wow...this is a different model pack than the one my cousin Chucky...er...Charles and I built back in 96 for the science fair. That one just shot a glorified light show, not ACUAL proton streams. I never considered a slime thrower attachment though. Maybe here? That might work."

William puts on his pack, hoping the slime thrower doesn't fall off if attached incorrectly. He walks toward the pole, ready to slide down.

"I've always wanted to do this!"

Attaching the Slime Thrower: 6, 2, 5, 6, 2
Down the pole: 3, 2, 6

Having gathered all his equipment together, Dan skips over to the fireman's pole and slides down with a whistle. ((TOTAL [9] *SUCCESS*)) He lands easily at the bottom and continues moving over to the Hummer Ecto-27.

William meanwhile spends a couple minutes trying to get the slimeblower pack attached to the proton pack. While he's shot his science fair pack many times, he find that that particular skill does not come in handy as he tries to attach this new piece. He futzes a little bit...

((6, 2, 5 = 1d3 - Ghost on a 1)) ((2 = No Ghost))
((TOTAL [13] *SUCCESS*))

...then finally snaps it into what turns out to be the proper place, and connects the few cables into the proper connections. Yes! He succeeds! He quickly throws the pack over his pretty hefty frame and hustles over to the pole. He grabs ahold of it and drops down...

((3, 2, 6 = 1d3 - Ghost on a 3)) ((2 = No Ghost))
((TOTAL [11] *SUCCESS*))

...landing easily and cushioning his drop with his legs. He also rushes over to the truck and joins Dan outside of it waiting for the others to catch up.
