D&D 5E Baldur's Gate 3 needs more short companions!

Bears don't resemble kids.

It's very easy to design a short character that doesn't resemble a child. See Barcus, Kagain, Yeslick, Quayle, Tiax etc. Or a recent example that had a sex scene, Harding from DATV.

It also feels kinda insulting to people like the great actors like Warwick Davis and Peter Dinklage whom when I checked have families.

BG3 has numerous short options for Tavs, like dwarf, gnome, and halfling. According to Larian’s stats, they’re the least picked options.

WoW has numerous short options for races; dwarves, gnomes, goblins, and vulpera. All of them are among the least played options.

Vulpera are insanely charming. Blizzard put a ton of effort into making them as likeable as they possibly can be. It's baffling that they're not more popular.

Halsin is a Half-Elf, I think? or Human? He's big and bulky.

Halsin is Woof Elf, and he addresses his size if you get the right dialogue option. He's at least aware he's an Elf Of Unusual Size.

They initially had issues with kissing animations, and conversations generally, where a short character talks to a larger character. Pretty much resolved now, but it's probably why none of the origin characters are short.

That would have been my first guess.
