Battlestar Galactica {Spoiler Talk} 2.18.05

Oh, come now. It's obvious that everyone there can see that Baltar's totally neurotic. They tolerate him because:

A. He's useful.
B. Everyone's getting a bit neurotic, and it makes them feel better that they're not as bad off as him.

And I was amazed that he didn't slap the president right there on the podium. It actually looked like he forgot the conversation from before...

And I have to love the Lillth approach to Baltar's slow fall to damnation. The corruption angle is sweet!

You just say that because Adama didn´t fall for No.6, but Helo and Tyrol felt for Boomer, right?
Well, Adama is TEH MAN. He might also be a bit too old and experienced to fall for anyone. :)

Adama also still wears his wedding ring.

He's said that he's not over the loss of his son in the previous episode. I doubt he's over the loss of his wife.

Oh, I'm sure that he hasn't forgotten the conversation - he just wisely wouldn't slap the president in public.

No, that's not it at all.

Six is just so blatant about it. She seems unable to be subtle with men, practically dragging them to bed at first opportunity. I mean, she finds Helo after the Cylon attack and the first thing she does is get in his lap and start trying to seduce him!

Here, she's just accused Baltar of being a Cylon agent, tells Adama she was in love with a man who was killed recently... and starts in with the "Don't you feel so alone?" bit before kissing him outright.

At least Boomer-bot knows how to play coy, lead the guy into making the first move, and then pounce him. ;)

I second the "No more Mister nice Gaius" line. I thought that was great.

I am sold on the breeding aspect of the Cylon women. Every time they are invovled it involves sex. They are trying to breed.

The scene where she tried to seduce Adama was awesome! Watching him just sit there while she kissed him- classic.

I also like the relationship between Tigh and Starbuck. Nice little father figure dynamic there.

Okay, maybe I'm in the minority here. Don't get me wrong, I liked the episode, and I like the series.

But we're only seven episodes in, and I'm getting truly sick of the "Baltar is the hidden traitor" sub-plot. Sick of it. I was desperately hoping that he was truly exposed in this episode, even though I knew he'd have found some way out of it by the end.

I love the interpersonal interactions on this show, but I wish they'd turn them down, and turn the action up, just a little bit.

I can feel the show starting to build towards something big....calm before the storm.

Ah yes, feeling the same here, but now, since I have watched it three times, just to disgest, the GREAT manipulation of Baltar by #6.

The man to man talk in the loo, was great...I laughed first, then watch it again, to see the seriousness of it.

The second in command reverse mind mush, worked! *in talking with Starbuck*

LORD, the side kiss done to Amanda, was just damn...WOW! Did you see the look on his face, when he got up and left to make the call.

Now, I know why #6 was angry, and frak me, she's vicious!!!

And lastily, that was one hell of ghost act....nowwhere to be FOUND!!!

And someone complained about the lack of action, there were several kinds and stages of action in this esp., mental, spiritual and physical.

And there was a lot in this one.

And Baltar is the man, done well by the actor :D

Next Week, Boomer gone clean before the chief...I am Cylon :)

As with all things in this series, don't take the spoiler at face value. I would imagine that both Boomer and Baltar's secrets will remain safe until at least the season finale.

Yeah I know, but the preview snippet has been advertise at least, three times, from previous shows...so, if and when she tells him...will he believe her?
