I'd add Your Highness (2011) to the list. It's the first movie that popped into my head when I read the thread title. Mind you, that might be because I rewatched it not too long ago whereas the others on the list I've seen are something of a distant memory.

Not your screen monkey (he/him)
As soon as I saw Hawk the Slayer on the list, it was my first choice. It's a far better D&D movie than any of the real D&D movies.
If you have not seen it, it is a wonderfully terrible movie. I have it on DVD but you can't borrow it.

Luckily you can stream it for free on Tubi 😉

Mythica IS a D&D campaign. It’s the best D&D movie series by a long shot but not the best fantasy film series but it’s straight up D&D.

while a weaker film, Conan the Destroyer is a better representation of AD&D adventurers than anything else in this list.

The Gamers is every D&D group I’ve played in.

It's not "Rouge"... That's makeup.
Yeah, it's interesting, because I always view Ice Pirates as THE dividing line.

Any "kid's movie" or PG movie before that, and you have to watch out.

I mean ... AIRPLANE is rated PG. It's a great movie! One of my all-time faves. Not exactly PG by today's standards. ;)

That's because PG-13 wasn't a thing until July 1984. So before that, if it wasn't R, it was PG. Hence why stuff like Airplane (1980) is rated PG but isn't kid-appropriate.

Heck, Gremlins snuck in at PG in June 1984, just before the change.
