Big 0?

So I'm watching the Big O yesterday and I've missed a few episodes. Then it looks like the series ends.

What the hell happened? Is there a synopsis or something on the series? I am confused.

The series did end at episode 13 originally. However, after enough fuss was raised in the USA, the company which produced the show was convinced to continue it for the American audience.

Unfortunately, I don't have cable, so I don't know how far along the Cartoon Network run is at the moment.

It just finished the complete 26-ep run last night. It was supposed to end the Sunday before, but a screwup resulted in episode 20 being aired instead.

Anyway, The Big O was originally written as a 26-ep series, but they only got funding for the first half when it originally aired in Japan. Unfortunately, ratings were low and the second half wasn't funded. The first half eventually made its way here, where it became a bigger hit on Cartoon Network in one of the Toonami slots. Enough buzz and support built up here that Cartoon Network threw in the cash to finish off the series (hence, its being listed in the season 2 credits as co-producer). The second half aired at the beginning of this year in Japan, and premiered here in August, finally ending last night.

I can't wait for the DVDs to start coming out here starting in January. My poor VHS tapes of the CN airing are getting worn out due to repeated viewings, after all.

I really enjoyed the Big O season one and season two just seemed to get better but that ended really sucked. I mean maybe I'm missing something but from what other people have written, I'm not.

"Worst ending ever." Heck, worse then the anime Berserk ending. Thank god I knew about the manga!

I have to agree with ya Joe,

I mean I Know I am not a geniuos, and maybe I am even dumber than I think...
but the ending made almost No sense At All!

I kinda get that he convinced "Angel" not to do whatever she was going to do and like 'reboot' the city, but WTF was going on?!
The situation itself made No sense...
All of a sudden the entire city is a holodeck and all the stuff is bliking out and then....what?!

Makes me sad...I really liked the show!
It was kind of a let down...........more of a tease really.

"OK fans, you have watched 26 or whatever episodes so now is the end and
poo on you! :p

Oh well...Dorothy is still hot...heheheh!! IS that wrong?! If it is...don't tell me! bawahaha!! :D
