BLEB1: Beer Run (stonegod - Designated Driver)

Mardigan sighs and sadly looses his flail. He walks forward towards the machines Well...Thisi s bad news. Times like these a man wishes he had adamantine weaponry. Khuther, do you have any idea how warforged work? How do we make sure these guys never activate? I also think we should destroy the machines....put the spirits of these warforged to rest.

Khuther Qbyer Dwarf Sorcerer

Khuther, do you have any idea how warforged work? How do we make sure these guys never activate?

'My knowledge of the machines is very limited, but i know how to "heal one" maybe theres a slim chanse that these forged can be healed into animation and make them friendly towards us, but thats a loong shot'

I also think we should destroy the machines....put the spirits of these warforged to rest.

'I tend also to destroy them all, maybe the book shelfs has the necesarry information to destroy them or activate them and control them somehow'
'shelf like that many times has traps on them' 'can anyone rule that out before i start looking into the books?'

The shelves are bashes and lots of the papers are scattered. It is unlikely anything remains trapped on the shelfs themselves (their all flung open).

"Do they remain living, free willed beings? If they are, we should try to save them. If they are more like the animated remains of such, equivalent to zombies, I suppose destroying them is the best we can do."

Kenn steps into the room, crossbow never wavering from the immobile warforged.
"I'm not sure they ever qualified as living or free-willed to begin with. Wasn't some wizard working on that particular problem?"

He takes another step towards the shelves, crossbow still trained on the warforged.
"Tourant, or Douring, or some name like that?"

The warforged remain still, other than the ... pieces... crawling over the thrumming machine.

Rio does not recall enough about possession to easily identify how to purge these things if they are possessed. It is beyond his ken. However, he knows a simple protection ritual will ward one of possession temporarily. [protection from evil will suppress possession for its duration] Unfortunately, all of this knowledge applies to "normal" living things; it is unclear what happens in the case of destroyed warforged.

Kenn does not see anything on the shelves that would suggest traps to his trained eye. It should be safe enough to sift though, though it'd take some time.

"Didn't he find a solution? Something to do with a briefcase, I think?"
