I was thinking of getting "Bluffside - City on the Edge" from Thunderhead Games, but obviously don't want to fork out my hard earned dosh on something poor...anyone bought it yet/have any opinions?

So there are other players in Leeds! Where ar eyou all hiding, took me 4 years to find the group I play with!

I'll not get into detailing what I like about Bluffside as I'll be a bit biased, I'll leave that upto the buying public..
But I do know that Travelling Man in teh Corn Exchange is stocking it....

I have it and am very pleased with it.

Out of the three city books out at this time (Geanavue, Freeport, & Bluffside) I find it the best to make my players home base.

Lots of NPCs, lots of locations, lots of hooks.

Posted a quick review of it last week...

Course this hardly unbiased but I personally LIKE Bluffside. It's the only city I know of that's actually SIX cities in one. Not to mention it's a great place to run around, find adventure...or let an adventure find you! :)

Week of the cities. I got both Bluffside and Freeport. I've read bits and pieces on both, and it shames me to say they are both too good. How can a person decide what city to run if the cities are all this interesting? :D

Obviously having too much quality is better then too little, no matter how my bank accounts look. Bluffside was the one I was unsure of. Freeport has been raved because of the modules which I still don't own. Bluffside I'd heard a few things about, but it was in the store that it sold me. It's packed with info. This is what I want, so much information it oozes out of my brain. Now, all we need is someone to do this level of detail with the city of Sanctuary (Thieves World) and I will be in gamers heaven.

THunderhead Games, this is the first product of your I've bought and I will now be checking out any of the other things you have.

Thanks for the great words Crothian!!!! We are glad you liked Bluffside. We will have extra goodies on line soon, mpas are already available in the vault section for Bluffiside. Next we go to the desert, Jeff Quinn has done a great job with his Interludes: Sands of Pain, and Becky Glenn is doing a sourcebook for the desert, it is great!!!! Some new stuff as always BUT jam packed with info and some new place to visit in the Dry Lands.

Also coming soon our first adventure sourcebook for Dragonstar.
