Break of Dawn [Manzanita judging] COMPLETED

Odno, Aletheia and Quarion stand some distance away from the swarm. Mordik and Eanos try to kill off a few of the rats, unsucessfully. Insteas, the rats turn on them, gnawing at thier flesh.

Mordik takes 1 damage, Eanos takes 5. At the start of your turn roll a fort save (forgot that with Quarion..).

Eanos is up!
Then Quarion, Aletheia, Mordik and finally Odno.

(OOC: Hmm...just have her generally offer advice, try every possible Knowledge and Lore check every time anything appears, do random good deeds, and try to work with kids. I'm sure we won't finish, so it'll probably just be combat anyway. Frankly, I suggest having Eanos just go to save time--roll a save for him. If he fails, you don't even need to know his actions because he's nauseated, and if he succeeds, he'll just flurry again I assume :))

As RA suggested, i'll move things ahead a bit, i really don't know what quarion is about to do so i'll wait for him after Eanos' action. Eanos makes his fort save btw.
Eanos franticly strikes at the rats which now runs all over him, biting at his hands and feet as he strikes at them. Unfortunately he cannot focus his attacks and misses both strikes.

Quarion is up!

Odno observes the battle worried, if battle is the proper name for two of their numers being bitten to dead by rats. Still he doesn't dare to shoot into the combat, either his mundane or psionic weapons.

ooc: Odno probably will do nothing in his turn, except to Ready an action to move away if the rats go after him. The crossbow is probably useless, and the rats must have a high touch AC if Eanos can't hit them, so firing a energy ray or alchemist there will surely do more harm than good. Those rats look like the worst kind of foe for Odno - now, if Nodis was here he'd Swarm of shards them to death with one volley :/

Ooc

Sorry about the delay. I was unexpectedly offline yesterday.

ooc: Eanos rolls where just very, very low... The swarm is quite big, covering about a 10' space.

OOC: Well, at least he made the save... :\

Mordik becomes extremely sick, but tries to draw his light mace.

(ooc: Nausea says I can take only a move action (which drawing a weapon is) but says I can't concentrate to attack. If I can't concentrate enough to pull the mace, I'll just take my move away from the swarm but not leaving any other PC's closer - I'm trying to get my bearings but not put the others at risk)
