When Odno suggests picking through the remains of the dead adventurers for usable gear, Quarion nods and walks over to the skeletons, rifling through the bones and emptying pockets and old, worn bags. If anybody objects, he says, "These creatures did not die so that their things could be buried with them. These objects are of no use to them anymore, it is only right that we take them and use them ourselves."

You take a good look at thier equipment and come up with the following:
a pristine leather armor a set of rotten studded leather, two rusted shortsworts,
150 gp in coin and two potions (labelled CMW and blur).

when Mordik comes close to one of the walls his dwarven senses aletr him that there is something unusual about it. Closer inspection reveals that a large block of stone is loose and looks like it has been placed there after the building's construction.
When he removes it he finds a hidden space behind it. In the space he finds three potions: a potion of cmw, bear's endurance and endure elements (all labelled as such).

Quarion, remembering his dropped bow, retrieves it from among the corpses of the rats and does his best to clean it off. He leaves the armor and the swords ("Does anybody need these? If not, we can leave them here for nature to reclaim as her own."). The coins he distributes evenly (30gp each), and the potions he offers to whoever wants them. "I have a potion of healing and the favor of Verdante, but I will carry the healing liquid if nobody else needs it. Perhaps Eanos might take this one marked 'blur'. I imagine that it makes you harder to see, though I admit I am not well versed in the arcane arts."

OOC: Are those CModW or CMinW potions? Or do we know?

"Scattering away these rats was well worth the effort" says Odno. "Had we simply left, we'd have left these undiscovered, and surely they'll be useful. But, none of these is the amulet we seek, so I think it's time now to continue our search."

Odno steps away and moment and turns back tot he findings. "I wonder why did one of the leather armors rot and the other one is so well conserved."

[sblock=ooc] I think Odno should carry one of the healing potions, to diversify the healing options should the healers be unable to reach a dieing character. The other ones can go to the front line fighters, or perhaps Aletheia could benefit from the Blur potion too.[/sblock]

"Neither am I. Surely the potion of endurance might come in handy, as well. But I'm perfectly willing to forego carrying one or both of those if someone else feels they need it more."

[sblock=OOC]Blurring our cleric does seem a good idea. Since Eanos is taking a front line role, perhaps the temp bump in HP might do him better if we're trying to divvy these up evenly?[/sblock]

Mordik is still somewhat shaken by the rats...his stomach reels but he forces himself to not show his breakfast to the party.

I'unno...We can take it with and check when we have more time...maybe it's been magicked? Any spellslingers able to check right quick? Mordik will respectfully, but rushedly take off the conserved armor and if no one's able to check it, put it in his haversack for now.

OOC: Can you use appraise untrained? Since we have a normal leather armor, can we use a dagger and press on both leathers to see if one is stronger than the other?
