Break of Dawn [Manzanita judging] COMPLETED

ooc: i'm going to assume nobody object to that plan :)
You bring the lantern into the central room and hold it near the fresco. Some lines light up, somehow catching the light from your new lantern.
The lines that light up form the same symbol that you saw on the bracelet of the 'mummy': the sign of Elysium.

"Hmm...okay, if we touch the symbol of Elysium from the bracelet to the fresco, maybe it will open, though admittedly, requiring the visitor to rummage through their dead seems a bit odd. Then again, Elysium is just pure undiluted good, and I guess that can get pretty saccharine after a while--the way it overwhelms you, it is in some ways little better than Hades. I think life needs spice and dreams to liven it up."

"I have no qualms about relieving the dead of their treasures. Such material things are of no use to them anymore. Mordik, if you can affirm that the body is not trapped, I will remove the bracelet, and while I am handling the corpse, I will remove the other jewelry as well."

As long as Mordik finds no trap, Quarion will do just that.

"Oh, I completely agree with you. It's just weird to encourage it in a 'to continue, you must loot the mummy' sort of way. But still, you're absolutely right. Let's go!"

Odno feels this part of their adventure is about to fnish, and that something else awats them behind the door hidden in the fresco - if nothing ese happens first. He tries to peek into the future, looking for insight

Manifesting Precognition. Lasts 10 minutes, have in mind that I can apply the bonus to saving throws - if you think oportune to roll them for the players (saving time) please remember I can benefit from the power.

No use to hide a trap in a hidden box... Then with a quick realization, There could be a hidden lever though! Mordik begins searching the (now open) sarcophagus and its contents.

OOC: take 20

Eanos, human monk

"If the berries were unnecessary to catch the birds, they may yet prove useful," Eanos says. "While you deal with the jewelry, I'll collect some of them. Anyone care to help?"

(OOC: Having found nothing, we proceed with the plan. Quarion grabs the loot from the sarcophagus, and Eanos gathers the rest of the berries. Then we meet at the door and touch the Elysium symbol on the necklace to the symbol that appeared on the door)

Quarion carefully lifts the corpse and searches it thoroughly, trying not to damage the body in the process. He wears his leather gloves as he works.
