Definitely an "A-list" voice!

However, she doesn't have the charisma & stage presence that they're usually looking for on those shows. Stage presence is teachable, the question is can she learn it.

Even if she doesn't win, I predict she'll be in demand as a session/studio/backup singer...and that whole "unemployed" and "never been kissed" thing will evaporate like a light rain in Pheonix, AZ in the Summer.

Heck, she may even get tapped as a lead singer for certain purposes. The music world is bigger than the pop charts.

IOW, she could be this century's version of Martha Wash (the voice of C&C Music Factory, Blackbox, Seduction, and the The Weather Girls).

Reminded me of Paul Potts the instant she walked out on stage and began singing. She's a bit more outgoing that Paul was, but the reaction was the same.

I saw this yesterday when I was looking for songs from Les Miserables. This Susan Boyle does an amazing performance of this song. Her stage presence might not be like most people but her voice and singing talent cant be denied.

The smile that krept over Simons face was priceless.

She could probably rake in a nice living singing jingles, songs in TV shows/movies (especially in animated features), or dueting with guys like Placido Domingo.

Had she gotten a break earlier in her life, I could see her as part of somebody's operatic troupe- 47 is a bit old to take up that particular mantle.
