Yeah, that's a real concern. I'm looking for ways to compensate, like through the tiefling and halfling's Dex bonus (w/Weapon Finesse) and the latter's size bonus. Another reason to flank, I suppose.Darklone said:Felon: Deadly Defense is nice, certainly, but I used it with two chars now and had a real hard time to hit...
That sums up the philosophy behind the Whisperknife.Meloncov said:Something to consider; with thrown weapons, you can take both rapid shot and the TWF chain of feats for a very large number of attacks. Combine it with rogue for sneak attack damage and you'll be inflicting a lot of hurt.
I don't suppose this bandolier was an "official" magic item? I've been looking for something like that.Meeki said:One of the campaigns I just finished Dm'ing had a dagger thrower in it. He was mainly fighter for all the fighter feats and some levels of rogue for sneak attack and evasion. Most of his damage came from his weapon spec and his high strength along with his specialized weapons. Basically he had +1 returning wounding daggers, one for each attack. He had a magic item that was a bandoleer of infinite daggers

Yupp, as someone else said above, it's a Power Attack for -2 to his for 3.5 more damage... with TWF you're at -4 to hit. The good news: You don't need to take ITWF, the secondary iterative attacks won't hit anyways.Unkabear said:If you use combat expertise and take a -2 instead of fighting defensivly for a -4 you have a better chance of hitting and gettting that d6 out of the feat.
