Can Dextyr Keep All These Strikers Alive? (DM: JoeNotCharles, Ozymandias79 Judging)

Mikara will take up the watch on the rock (J8), but she will start prone so as not to attract too much attention. There's not much cover on the top of that rock.

Her previous perception roll will do for what she sees from there.

Athletics for climbing the rock = 1d20+7 = 15

Stealth = 1d20+9 = 16, do I get a plus for laying down in an elevated spot?
Perhaps I should have taken the cloak. That would at least offer some protection from attack.

Initiative = 1d20+4 = 23! Now why couldn't I have rolled a 19 for Stealth!?
Just for the record, I'm keeping my bow out.

Mikara will also spend 1 surge (down to 4 now). That will put her at 23. I'll leave it up to Dextyr as to whether or not he uses his song on her. Just do me a favor Dex. Sing softly, since somebody's coming;).

Well I think that we would have taken a 5 minute rest prior to digging the holes, so no worry about Dex's song of rest drawing attention. Everyoe who uses a healing surge will benifit from the song of rest that way.

Dex will use his majestic word as per Tristans suggestion, giving Dex and Tristan the extra 4 HP each. Dex will then take a second 5 minute rest while the others begin to dig the holes (to regain his majestic word power), and try on his new cloak in square H10

I'm fine with the hole placement. Tonk will be at the partially finished hole. (That's at G15, correct?)

Taking advantage of Dexter's healing. That puts Tonk at full HP. I need to double-check, but I think that leaves him with one healing surge.

So after this encounter, what should be do?
It is obvious that our location is known to everyone.
Perhaps if we want to get an extended rest we need to get ourselves off the map (literally). I think that we should find a location that no one would look for us in.
Can anyone think of a place their characters would know of that we could go, where we would not normally be found? (that makes sense in my head, but not sure if that came out right..)
