Tristan gulps in a lungful of air after landing on the forest floor, then shouts, "There you are!" As Tonk yanks him closer to the spectre the elf uses the momentum to get onto his feet. Throwing a wink, he then slips past the spectre to its other side to loose his blade on the spirit. "Haha!" he laughs as the sword finds its mark, his grin returned. "If you had blood, we'd be smelling yours too."
[sblock=OOC]Well, I guess when you post last you don't get to say anything about a brilliant plan or anything. So I won't. This may actually work out better, and with our rolling it wouldn't have helped anyway, heh. :)

Move: Stand up.

Standard: Angelic Alacrity (shift to K13) vs spectre: 1d20+8=26, 1d20+8=27, 2d12+5=15. 27 vs. AC for 15 damage, halved to 7. If the spectre moved away from me at any point during its last turn add 6 damage, for a total of 10 damage after insubstantial.
I don't suppose we have anything active that makes 19's crits, eh? That would be pretty cool.

Minor: none.[/sblock]

OK so now the rest of us need to follow Tristans lead and actually hit with our attacks next turn........

[sblock=OOC]I like that plan, Dan. :) Unfortunately I can't really take credit for Tristan's luck there ... I just hope there's some left for next round, heh.[/sblock]

[sblock=Mikara]
I count 18 for the range, which is medium range for your longbow (20/40). So that's 1210 and 16 - still misses.

As Blade appears from the woods, the necromancer spins around and strikes him a solid two-handed blow with his staff, right in the gut. It hits hard enough that he even feels it despite his resistance to the dark energy which creeps over him and tangles his arms and legs. The necromancer laughs and taunts, "Follow me now!" as he turns again and runs full speed up the road. Blade struggles in vain to get a hit on him while he flees.

Tristan lands a formidable blow on the specter, and blood begins oozing out of the bottom of its cloak to spatter, hissing and smoking on the ground. The specter fades away and rushes off through the trees, occasionally shaking branches as it passes.

Mikara attacks the Necromancer with Twin Strike, but misses.

Tonk stands and attacks the Specter with King's Castle, missing but swapping places with Tristan.

Dextyr moves to N19 and misses the Necromancer with an Eldritch Blast.

Blade charges to N26 and, yes, misses the Necromancer.

Tristan stands and uses Angelic Alacrity to shift to K13 and attack the Specter, hitting for 7 damage. (It didn't move away from him last turn, in fact it moved closer.) That bloodies it.

Neither of the enemies' powers recharge: Recharge on Horrific Visage, Spectral Barrage (1d6=1, 1d6=3)

The necromancer attacks Blade with the Staff of Death: Staff of Death vs Blade (1d20+9=29, 1d6=6) Critical hit, for 1 damage after necrotic resistance. Blade is immobilized (save ends). The necromancer runs off the map to the north, which gives Blade an OA: OA vs Necromancer (1d20+2=4, 1d12+2=4) Miss. The necromancer is now 7 squares north of where he's shown on the map - you can move off the map to follow if you want - and is granting CA because he ran.

The specter becomes invisible and moves away, making a Stealth roll: Stealth (w/+5 for invisible, -5 for moving more than 2 squares) (1d20+9=14)

It's in N7, hovering at the same level as Mikara.

Mikara lets fly blindly into the air. There isn't a prayer of catching the fleeing diviner, but she has to try.

As she lets go, she turns to see the specter closing on her from her right. She fires a wild shot that goes nowhere near its target and flees to put some distance between the haunting figure and herself. She doesn't even realize that her first arrow found its mark.

[sblock=Actions] Standard: Twin Strike
Target #1: Necromancer

And down goes the lame-o necromancer!

Tonk's passive perception is 17, so he sees the spectre.

"I come for to help!" Tonk shouts to Mikara.

The half-orc races out of the woods. (Move from J16 to I10.)

With a hearty laugh, he leaps forward, onto the big rock, sprinting across the top and springing into the air to attack the spectre. (Standard Action: CHARGE! from I10 to N7 -- Athletics (1d20+9=23) to jump onto the rock and into the air -- Mace v. AC (1d20+6+1=21, 1d8+4+1=12))

[sblock=OOC]
Oops.

Ok, retcon - Blade manages to kill him during his desperate attempt to flee. Both of Mikara's shots are at the Specter, so she hits once.
