Caprica: The Final Episodes

I don't think it's all that clear. There was a strong implication that the consciousness was being uploaded when the one tech guy noted that the martyrs didn't have to go through the pain of dying, that their consciousnesses could be removed before the bomb went off.

That tells me that after the upload the body is left empty of consciousness, which is an upload. I don't think he was saying that the consciousness uploaded to heaven wouldn't need to experience it but the original still would.
Well, "technically", an upload doesn't delete the source. Of course, in the case of the soul, we assume it would since we see the soul as something unique.

I enjoyed the finale episodes. Either the show was getting better, or it helped that I could watch several episodes in a row. Much more enjoyable now.

I just rammed through the final five (I see what they did there) episodes. Excellent stuff.

I wonder if, before they got canceled, the plan was to bring back Bill Adama as a cylon. I was really hoping so, because it always wanted the "Adama is a Cylon" line to turn out to be true.

Also, Tamara got dropped kinda hard. And it would've been nice for Methos to get his come-uppance (the GDD chief guy, played by Peter Wingfield). But it had good closure, considering that it got cut short.

I finally watched the final 5 last night.

Seems like a waste for scifi to run all of them at once, rather than spread them out like a normal show.

I think Tamara and Willie were kind of a waster. Tamara was hardly in there, they could have written the entire series without her. And killing Willie to bring in Bill (It's the same frakking name) was just another cheap hook to get the Adamas moving toward their plot line.

I think that could have been done differently.

Lacey's story was a bit pointless, extra fluff for the ending in how the robots found god, but it could have been left off.

Still, it was alright. Just not how I would have written it.
